Questions & Answers

Is it true that beat-up cars rust?

If you're anything like me, you'll rip them apart before they have a chance to rust. I pulverize frozen butter, chocolate chips, and the edge of the bowl if something stray gets stuck on it without being homogenized first; after all the beatings (pun intended), I sometimes have to bend them back into shape so they don't bang and clack against each other as I mix my latest batch of AWESOME. I probably use them twice or three times a week, for a total of 20 minutes each time. The weld point at the tip where the two wires come together has been broken by my abuse, but I just bend them back into the general shape they should be, and then turn them on, even if they are still a little bent, because as they smash together, they will bend themselves free of each other. But I'm going to buy another set. Not because I don't love my poor abused ones, but because my cookie cycles sometimes outpace the dishwasher cycles. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Is it true that the unit does not have a place to rest?

After it has been cleaned, you can keep the clear case. The unit has a flat bottom surface that allows it to stand upright while in use. I hope this has provided you with a satisfactory response to your query.

Is there enough space in the clip-on storage case to store the cord?

Yes. At the back end of the mixer, the cord emerges from the bottom. Everything, including the cord and tools, was able to fit into the storage case.

Is the motor capable of handling a butter, sugar, and flour cookie recipe?

YES, it does have E double hockey sticks. The torque on this bad boy is MASSIVE. I'm constantly wrecking the beaters, but this thing just keeps going. I've had it doing so much work that I had it set to 9 and it was speeding up to 1. I make a sugar cookie recipe that's basically (no secrets here! 1 cup sugar, 1 stick and a half of butter, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract flour (five cups) It's possible to complete the game all the way through. I always add chocolate chunks, but this can cause the wires to bend.

WARNING - THE PHOTOS OF THIS PRODUCT HAVE BEEN CHANGED BY THE MANUFACTURER
3/5

The manufacturer's photos of the accessories fitting nicely beneath the mixer in the clear plastic container have been changed to hide the fact that the electrical cord must also share that space. This makes it nearly impossible to store the cord and accessories together in the storage container. In all of the photos from Cuisinart's marketing department, the electrical cord has mysteriously vanished. I would not have spent money on an expensive plastic container that now sits apart from the mixer if I had been shown the truth, as shown in my photo. The Mixer is in good working order.

Mixer Is A Horrible Mixer - In 38 days, I was financially independent! This mixer only lasted 38 days before it broke
3/5

The gears "stripped" while I was beating soft butter and sugar, and it now won't hold or beat with one of the beaters. It's complete nonsense! I called the company and was told that I would have to pay $10 for a new one as well as the cost of shipping the old one - A LARGE FEE FOR A MIXER THAT HAD BEEN USED FOR LESS THAN SIX WEEKS! Make sure you don't throw your money away.

In regards to the container that came with the mixer, I disagree with one of the reviewers. Please see the attached image.

Kitchenaid 9-speed hand mixers vs
5/5

Cuisinart 9-speed hand mixers I've had the KA 9-speed hand mixer for over a year and recently used a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon to get the Cuisinart 7-speed. I've discovered a lot of advantages and disadvantages and thought it might be useful to others who are deciding which one to buy. Both are excellent hand mixers, and I believe they are the best available in terms of durability. Of course, I can't prove that because I just bought the Cuisinart, but the Ka is quieter and the first speed is slower. br>Keep in mind that the Cuisinart starts off faster when you turn it on and then slows down, so keep it out of the bowl before using it in the batter. Unbeknownst to me, the KA dough hooks produce better bread or pizza dough than the Cuisinart dough hooks. I'm not sure why, maybe it's because I'm picky. Or the shape of the dough hooks; the Ka's dough hooks appear to be heavier duty, while the Cuisinart's are thinner, but I'm not sure if this makes a difference. Similarly, I find that the Cuisinart works better with heavier dough than the KA. The fact that the Cuisnart has 7 speeds and the KA has 9 hasn't really made a difference to me. I have yet to use both Mixers at their maximum speeds. I tried making whip cream with the balloon whisks, and they both appear to be useless to me. Regular beaters, in my opinion, perform better on both. I paid $99. 00 for the KA. 00 on the internet, but I believe QVC has better deals, but I prefer to shop on Amazon. They are easy to work with in the event of a problem, and they usually ship quickly. The Cuisinart 7-speed with attachments and carrying case, which is identical to the Cuisinart 9-speed available online, costs $59. 00 and I was able to use the 20% off coupon they always send in the mail and I like that I can go to the store and pick something up without having to look at Although I believe the Cuisinart is a little louder, I believe it works much better with a heavier dough. So both of these appear to have advantages as hand mixers; the Cuisinart 7 speed, in my opinion, would work just as well as the 9 speed they sell, as it is quite powerful. I really like the look of both the KA and the Cuisinart, which I got in a lovely silver color. Because the KA is more expensive, even though I prefer the quieter operation, I prefer to use the Cuisnart for ease of use when my batter is thicker. They claim the Ka has a powerful dc motor; I'm not sure if this means it will last longer, but those who are familiar with motors will be able to tell you more than I can. br>I'm hoping that this review will be useful to someone who is trying to make a decision.

Cusinart's 'warranty' does not cover shipping, and they charge a 'processing fee' if it breaks after 6 months
3/5

"Valued Customer,br>br>Thank you for your inquiry," says their customer service email. Your unit is still under warranty and can be scheduled for replacement based on the information you've provided. However, neither shipping nor processing fees are covered by our warranty. Shipping and processing fees for us to mail out your new unit will be $10, depending on your specific product. We also require that you cover the cost of shipping the defective unit to Cuisinart, which we recommend be done via a traceable insured delivery service. "br>br>So, what do you get? A mixer that works well for a while but breaks down after a few months and costs money to repair. Cuisinart, thank you very much.

sub- excellent work! The right-hand beater unit has been stripped out after only being used twice! It was necessary for me to re-urn it! Before it died, it worked perfectly, and my wife adored it! To build this for Cuisinart, we'll need to find a better Quality Assurance manufacturer!! All of the other Cuisinart products I've bought over the years have proven to be durable and reliable!

I was worried that my vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster would give up the ghost, so this is a fantastic product
5/5

I wouldn't be able to make my pound cakes, which necessitate a slow speed. My daily mixer begins at a helicopter speed. After that, go up. This Cuisinart is ideal for low-speed cooking. You can get where you want to go with just a push of a button. There are no mistakes because it always starts on 1. The mixer is positioned in the middle of the table. firmly affixed to the kitchen island, There is sufficient cord length. This isn't an issue. With more than enough power, the dough hooks did an excellent job mixing up my meatloaf. I made crepe batter with the whisk attachment. The storage container is an excellent addition. It's simple to clean the beater design. That might be the only drawback: there's no cake batter on them for the kids to lick off!.

It is well worth five stars
5/5

My wife needed a new "beater," so I purchased this mixer for her. When it came to choosing a mixer, I read a lot of reviews. One of her complaints was that the old mixer splattered when it was first turned on, so the slow start feature would be ideal. She also adores the mixer's storage box, which holds all of the various attachments - A drawer full of old beaters and attachments was emptied by us! The "slow start" function was not working for some customers, according to customer feedback. Ours is in good working order - Before using it, my wife double-checked it, and the slow-moving When the mixer is turned on, the mix function is activated. It goes into a higher speed if you push the start slide switch far enough. It turns on as advertised if you carefully move the switch when turning it on. My wife loves the versatility and various attachments, and the quality is obvious and has a long history with Cuisinart.
