Questions & Answers

Does it matter if the rubber covers come off the blades when we replace them? Does the rubber come off in food as little bits?

The rubber bits surfacing in our foods are the same as yours. Because it is impossible to purchase replacement beaters without the rubber, I will have to purchase Such a large defect for a hand mixer that costs so much.

The cord swivels from side to side, does it not?

With the BHM800SIL Handy Mix, you can easily change the angle An electric cord to power the movement.

Does anyone know if there is an alternative to the rubber covering? If they're not there, I wonder if the mix will be just as good. ?

There can be no removing the rubber coverings as they are a part of the beater. These beaters have been molded to them. I refuse to understand why you would want to get rid of Whether you are using the beaters in a ceramic covered pot or Teflon pot, you won't have to worry about scratching them.

Can you tell me where this is ?

There's no way to know about this one (I'm not near mine to check), but there sure is It says the model is made in China in an ad for a Sonoma product. (Aren't all things mentions it is an Australian company.

Food is becoming less rubbery as the rubber on beaters comes off
3/5

It's a nice mixer, but the rubber on the beaters is separating. When plastic breaks off in food, it can be dangerous. The company is not able to send me new beaters, so I contacted them. It cost me $20 to buy my Hamilton mixer. I owned a mixer that cost me $1000 and lasted for 18 years without any problems. My advice is to avoid splurging on Breville mixers.

It's wonderful to use (although the rubber on the beater wears away over time)
3/5

I have updated *As a result, I reduced the star rating from 2 to 1 after contacting the seller There was no assistance from Breville when it came to replacing just the defective part. While the rubber started to wear down quickly after it was used (1 month), it was expensive. It's a shame that Breville did that to us! I had to trim the loose bits of black rubber because I didn't want them getting mixed in with the cake batter, although it is wonderful to use. However, the rubber on one of the beaters is wearing down to the metal. This hand mixer is great for easy speed changing and giving you a feel for the different speeds as you go. I believe in spending a little extra for quality products. However, I wish the rubber around the beaters lasted a few more months. A quick update Based on their responses, I will update my rating when I hear from the seller or Breville.

The junk mail
3/5

This is terrible. My passion for baking comes from my love for cooking. As shown in the picture, these beaters are total garbage. It was sent to me as replacements. (the middle one) Has arrived bent. This one snapped in half, the best I've ever seen (its not icing, but Several batters completely failed because the rubber peels off, so I had to toss some and waste all the Not so great when it comes to customer service. Now that replacement beaters are out of stock, they will not be available. However, it will be hard to do so if I need to return my current mixer. They offered to replace the whole mixer, which I find to be a complete waste of money. So, your guess is as good as mine why I ordered it from Amazon. The Breville doesn't have the time to go to the post office. Thanks but no thanks!.

Two whisks in a row! Already I am in love with this mixer
5/5

With the double whisks, it took me a fraction of the time it took me to use my old mixer to make meringue. very easy to operate, just move the wheel forward to increase the pace. Additionally, I like the pause button, because then I can add more sugar and then press the pause button again to get back to the speed I was at before. The mixer turns out to be quite light and I didn't notice it being heavy in spite of being over 61 with restricted movement of my arms. Moreover, I was also concerned about the rubber parts on the beaters. In truth, I was initially apprehensive about purchasing this mixer because of their appearance, but seeing them in person, I now realize that they won't interfere with mixing at all, as they fit like a glove and glide along the surface of the bowl as easily as any other paddle. My research into the 3 main brands showed that Breville's mixer had the highest power wattage out of Cuisinart and Kitchen Aid's. The newest 9-inch has just been returned to me As a result, I was ecstatic to see that Breville has a thumb wheel that is simple and easy to use in place of the buttons on the Kitchen Aid mixer. There is just something about this mixer that is so beautiful that it looks better than it does on the website. As soon as I opened the box, I was impressed. You can tell they are well made by the well made beaters and attachments. My experience with it so far has been very positive.

It is an extremely powerful hand mixer
5/5

I believe this is the best hand mixer available in terms of features and design. This mixer doesn't have metal or plastic housing, it has a plastic housing, which makes it heavier than other models, but it is extremely well built. In the same way, both the dough hook and the beaters are extremely thick and strong. In addition to the wire whisks, they are also very nice. It is easy to use and has intuitive controls. It took me no time to operate it without reading instructions when I pulled it out of the box. It always starts on the very low setting to keep splashes to a minimum unless you use the pause function. When it comes to low, it truly is In addition to the timer, there are pause features for when you want to take a break from the app. After using the pause button, the app remembers the speed you were using, so it goes back to it In terms of the LED light, I like the fact that it only turns on when the mixer is running and during pauses. The light goes out when you turn off the mixer. The light may come on when the appliance has been plugged in and stay on until it has been unplugged. Pushing up the speed dial with the rotary knob The boost feature is activated by pressing down on the button. Taking a look at the boost functionality A better design for this feature is the only thing that could have been done. While pressing down on the dial, push boost to advance the mixer to its highest speed regardless of the speed being used. If you are on low speed one and set boost to nine, it will advance your speed by one or two speeds. A better solution would have been to just set it to one or two speeds. You can move your speed from speed one to speed two by stirring dry ingredients. If you need a little bit more power, move it to speed two instead of boost, or you will get a large surprise. I personally do not think boost is necessary. It's just a matter of dialing. In comparison with top mixers, I have used two that start with the letter K and one that begins with the letter As far as quality, features and design are concerned, this mixer is far superior to both. My experience with the other brands is that I have used them both. There is no doubt that this mixer will be one of the best on the market. Unfortunately, in order to get all of these wonderful features today all of the top of the line brands use a lot of electronics. I hope I will have the opportunity to use this mixer for many years to come if the electronics hold up. Nowadays, it is not so simple as turning on/off a switch and turning a speed dial. In addition, the mixer is pretty quiet for a power mixer of this size. No sharp whining or high pitch sound can be heard. One mixer out there that has a similar amount of power is the C brand but does not offer nearly as many It is expensive, but if you are looking for a powerful mixer with a lot of features in addition to a professional look, then this is the mixer for you. All of this, including the cord if there is one, will fit in the storage bin that came with the mixer. Featuring a very heavy duty cord that can be swiveled on either side of the mixer and locks in place, the unit features a very convenient design. The plug is outstanding as well, since it is designed to be held easily with the hole in the center. It makes you feel as though It is a great mixer for everyone, with the exception of someone with arthritis in their hands who may struggle to handle the extra weight of the mixer. Although it is not as heavy as the average hand mixer, it is still quite heavy.
