There is a Chinese component in it. A worse act was the way Kitchenaid tried to hide the fact. It is clearly marked MADE IN CHINA and DESIGNED IN USA, but the markings are so small you cannot see them.
Weighs about half a pound on the bathroom scale. I am 77 years old and no, it's not too heavy and I have no problems holding it.
Here's a follow up answer that might help those wondering about the power. I am only offering this to you as A few days ago, I went through several cordless hand mixers and noticed a pattern. The ones with less than 300 watts only came with beaters, while those with 300 or more watts came with a variety of attachments, including a dough Now Kitchen Aid only puts beaters in their products so I would estimate that it has around 250 watts in power. At this wattage, a dough hook would overwork and overheat the motor and overheat or burn out the unit.
A pair of stainless steel turbo beaters is included with the cordless hand mixer

This cordless mixer is pretty nice, but despite its 7 speeds it isn't as powerful as a corded model. It would be great if it came with a whisk.
My whole life, I haven't seen this! Where has it been? What a great idea! You can run it cordless with no cord at all! It's super quiet, powerful, light, and so convenient!.
A pro is The appearance is good, the weight is light. The stand is convenient and easy to use. The cons are The chart cannot be used during charting time. It is therefore imperative that you ensure it has power before cooking. I didn't notice that this one doesn't come with a dough hook when I bought it. I hadn't noticed that it was missing the dough hook when I bought The kitchenaid mix can be used for dough, so I just keep it since it looks good and is always in use!.
A cordless mixer like this is great. The hand mixer is quite expensive, but it is an awesome product. Also, it's very quiet here. I have started my mixers before but my little dogs always went off when I did. I don't have to worry about my dogs as this one is so quiet. In addition, the mixer stays charged for a considerable amount of time. I highly recommend this mixer for any mixing needs in the future.
I can't handle the weight. I guess I'll need to watch it go around and get a stand mixer.
Despite living in a lefthanded household, one problem I have had is tangles in my mixer cables. There is no better mixer on the market. The last time I charged it was when I received it in I just charged it again on Oct. 19. It lives right on the countertop and I use it all the time, so its battery lasts a very long time. As well as charging fast, it also does well in terms of performance. A cup like this can be placed on the counter as A powerful mixer like this is highly recommended. As well as the KA Mixer, I also provide the large counter top mixer for larger jobs, which I A. B.
