Yes, as far as I'm aware, they're the same thing, made in the same factory under different names. According to the research we conducted when remodeling our kitchen, it didn't matter which microwave slide out drawer we chose because they both performed equally well. We were aware of the common complaints, but we simply didn't want our microwave to sit on the counter-top. We didn't have anywhere else to put it in our new setup but the island because we went with a double oven setup. In January of this year, we completed a remodeling project. We haven't had any issues with the microwave so far, but we do make a point of pressing the button each time we open or close the drawer. Heating is also acceptable; however, there aren't many options in this market at the moment. We chose the Bosch because it could be installed flush against the wall, with nothing protruding until the drawer was opened, even when it was in use. Although it is a little on the pricey side, it looks and functions beautifully in our new kitchen. I hope this has been of assistance.
A one-year manufacturer's warranty is included.
Because it's made of stainless steel, fingerprints and smudges will show up on it. This is a unit that I do not recommend. Also, if you're purchasing this directly from Amazon through a third party, be cautious. If you buy from a third-party seller on Amazon, the manufacturer will not assist you if something goes wrong with the product. If you buy something from a third party, they won't give you a warranty.
Trimming kits are available.

Once the cabinet installation was finished in November 2018, the system was installed. The unit did not work right away, which meant that food could not be heated. We contacted Bosch customer service, who advised us to unplug and re-plug the unit. The unit was still not working. They assured us that someone would be dispatched to service it. Meanwhile, we contact Amazon and request that it be returned. They are unable to do so because the return period has expired. They re-connect us with Bosch, who provides us with two local dealers who should be able to service the unit under warranty. We contacted both of them, but neither of them is able to service the microwaves in the drawer. We can call Bosch again, and they'll say they'll find someone for us and then give us the same names as before. I inform them that the unit will not be serviced. They claim they need to elevate to a manager, who will find someone for us. We contact Bosch for an update over the next two weeks and only receive the response "they're working on it. " They also refused to allow us to speak with the executives. Finally, Bosch responds, apologizing for not being able to help because the Amazon e-commerce platform is down. tailer isn't a legitimate e-mail service provider. tailers. That took you four weeks to complete? As a result, I called Amazon again and had to credit them. They did, however, refund us for the unit after hearing our story. I was very impressed with their customer service; however, if I were Amazon, I would not associate myself with Bosch's shitshow. Thank you, Amazon, for standing behind your products. This is why you're gaining weight and Bosch is on his way to the bathroom!.
Manufacturer's warranty is one year. Because this is not a Bosch authorized dealer, the manufacturer's warranty will not be honored. If something happens during that time, you will be on your own.
I took it out of the box today and discovered a large dent in the top of the microwave, which seemed strange given that the box it came in was undamaged and the microwave was well packed. Hmmm. Regardless, I installed it because the dent is in an inconspicuous location. I plugged it in, and it only allows me to set the time; nothing else works. Nothing works: I can't open the drawer (using the button), I can't cook at all. So, until a Bosch service technician comes out to look at it, it's a $1300 clock. br>br>Update November 21, 2018: Fortunately, unlike some of the other reviews I've read here, a Bosch service technician arrived and my warranty was honored. A replacement part is on its way. I added a star to my rating. I'll update once I've had a chance to use the microwave. br>br>Update Dec. 22, 2018: The microwave has been working fine since the Bosch support technician repaired the broken part on the circuit board. Everything didn't work because the microwave believed it was always open. That's annoying because the panel that the tech removed to do his work is now loose and wiggles around. But now that it's working, I don't feel as if I've been cheated.
I had this microwave for just over a month when it self-destructed, posing a serious safety risk. (electronic fire) immolated If you do some research, you'll discover that Sharp makes nearly all drawer microwaves on the market, and they all have the same failure mode, which includes smoke and fire. It's amazing this product is still on the market.
We've never bought anything from Bosch before. In less than two minutes, the message was sent out. 5 months. Bosch is slow to respond and difficult to reach for assistance. No calls are answered or returned by the local technician. The worst experience imaginable. br>This is the last Bosch product we'll ever buy.
After about 7 months, the device failed. Bosch says there is no warranty because the new drawer microwave oven was not purchased from an authorized dealer, Place Appliances via Amazon, after two months of email exchanges. If I have to repair it myself, I will never buy another Bosch product. They provided terrible customer service and refused to put their denial in writing.
Then he began to bang and smoke! Worse, Bosch refused to replace it, despite the fact that the Bosch technician, who arrived three months later, said it was a factory DEFAULT! br>I bought it after Bosch jerked me around, demanding this and that invoice and proof. Finally, they stated that this DEALER is not authorized to sell Bosch and REFUSED to take any action! BEWARE.
It was threatening to blow up, and I was afraid it would. After having a service technician come out and replace the magnetron, the problem reappeared less than a week later, which is unacceptable. Now I'm looking for a regular microwave to replace it with. Beware of the Buyer!.
