There is a small "o" at the end The ring is for the bleed valve, the washer with the larger hole goes into the side of the cylinder where the CO2 goes. You can see what goes where in the item specifications section, third picture.
As long as both ends of the thread are correct, it can be used.
Since it is made out of copper, this sodastream adapter does not contain lead.
You asked a great question. Thank you. There is a small "o" at the end You can find an example of a washer with a larger hole on the page with the listing. The "ring-shaped valve" needs to be bled, and the "ring shaped valve" has to be pumped.

Despite the fact that it contains many extra washers, this fitting works just fine. It is well made and works perfectly. There is no reason to believe those who claim that this or any other fixture will not Definitely an error on the user's part. As long as you follow the steps below, it will work without a hitch. 2) Put the empty Sodastream bottle in the freezer for at least a couple of days before using it. 3) Allow the CO2 to fill the tank while upright if your CO2 tank has a siphon tube. Without an upside down tank, the tank must be left in its upright position. Be sure to start filling very slowly before you start mixing. The bottle valve will shut off if you don't do so, causing you to hear a click. Observe whether it happens, and if it does, then shut off the gas, open the bleeder knob, and let the CO out. The excess pressure should be bled and the system should be restarted. 4) You will hear the CO2 fill Do not fill to the brim. It would be good to have a postal scale and, after counting to 60 (seconds), turn off, disconnect, and weigh the bottle it shouldn't weigh more than 1180 grams or 41 oz. There are 6 ounces in each. Overfilling the bottle will generate gas, so push the bottle pin and let a little of it In the absence of such a precaution, the overpressure valve will enlarge and the bottle will be destroyed when it reaches room temperature. Throw it in the recycling.
A small amount of water should be left in the tank. The type of tank you have should be determined if it is a siphon tank or not This is siphoning. In the absence of At some point, you'll have to start setting the tank up upside down. After you siphon, it'll need to be laid down for a day or two. Thank you for selecting this! I am so happy I made this choice! I found this product to be phenomenally affordable and easy to use, making refilling a 20lb tank a better deal than exchanging or buying equivalent.
I have a 60L Soda Stream tank and the product will not work. It's an easy to use device, but the tank has a little valve in the middle that must be depressed for gas to flow. With this device, the valve must not be depressed. With the 60L tank screw I've tried every possible combination. I still cannot get gas flowing. Although I'm not sure if this works for the other two types of 60L tanks, I definitely cannot get it to work.
Works with older soda stream bottles that do not have a cap.
I have tested this for SodaStream bottles and it works. It is not necessary to use the other complicated adapters available online that have devices to depress the center pin. I like this device because it is simple, works well, and saves me a lot of time. As Co2 is pumped from the large tank into the SodaStream tank without being pressed, it flows from the top of the bottle to the bottom. A reviewer mentions that this device does not include a means to depress the pin, however, I would reiterate that it is not necessary to depress the valve, as the bottle valve allows for one-handed operation. The smaller bottle allows Co2 to travel one way. Having said that, the SodaStream bottles can be refilled It is "resistant". You should not try to fill bottles too quickly since the bottle will internally shut off the flow of CO2. Having refilled the stock SodaStream bottles with success, there is an easy modification that can be done under the water using a new valve, that can be purchased on Amazon as well. Photos of my modified bottle are included as well as an action video of this device. The 20 lb Co2 tank I use has a siphon tube, which means I stand it upright while using. In some cases, the bottles cannot be used upside down because they don't have the siphon tube. A Co2 bottle contains a liquid, but it does not become a gas immediately after you remove it from I would like to conclude by saying If you want to avoid overfilling, buying a scale for your kitchen is probably necessary. As a standard bottle, the 14 comes with it. The amount of Co2 in this recipe is 5 oz. When filling, I let it run for 20 seconds, then remove it There are usually 10 ounces in a bottle. As soon as I refill the bottle for 10 seconds and weigh the product, I get about 14 ounces. Thanks a lot.
You'll need to weigh your bottles afterwards to make sure you did not overfill. 60 L is roughly 410 grams, so your total is around 1080 grams. No issues with this product. There are no mechanics - just two female fittings with an empty space between them and an optional bleeding valve you don't It has a siphon tube attached to it so that it can be pumped into the tank. Considering my 60L bottles and more than 5 years old, I put them in the freezer before hand, attach them somewhat snugly, slowly open my large tank, listen for flow, wait five minutes, and then fill up with bottled water. Let the valve on the big tank close for a few seconds, then weigh the My rating is 5 stars, works fine.
I HIGHLY recommend it. If you put your sodastream tank in the freezer overnight before filling it, it will not fill properly or break. Fill it slowly otherwise as it may lock up and stop working. On their newer tanks, Sodastream has installed an anti-refill device that is poorly designed. Getting the CO2 into the tank should be easy when the CO2 tank is opened slowly. If it locks up, simply release and retry it. It's an excellent product, I highly recommend it!.
Slow and steady wins the race.
