While this CO2 hose and soda club adapter is certainly nice to have, I think it is overpriced for what it offers. On the tank side of the hose, you should screw it down and then use a wrench to add one quarter turn. You can get it in a little awkwardly on the machine side, but it's possible. As the space in which it goes is small, I used a small wrench, but you do not need to screw it on too tightly. Once the CO2 has been removed from the bottle, I turn it off. Please note that the line between the tank and machine will still be pressurized, so if you wish to remove the machine in this manner, make sure to turn off the power first If you want to release the pressure on a machine with a disconnect valve, you must hold down the button.
I do not recommend this product because it is not responsive! I would not recommend buying! I had it attached for a few weeks, and it worked well. A while back, I heard a loud hissing sound from the attachment and found my CO2 tank There is no explanation as to why the leak occurred suddenly. The version in this picture is 72" in size. I just got a new tank filled. The leak started as soon as I connected it back up. Having the clear washer installed is super convenient. A lack of reliability seems to be a problem. My CO2 tank leaked overnight and I heard a hissing sound in the morning and my aquarium was ice cold. I lost about a third of my CO2. We blew $30 worth of co2 just by wasting that. This seller does not appear to be very responsive. *UPDATE It cost me my 10lb of CO2 because I woke up to a hissing noise and this caused my CO2 to leak. I was also not responding to inquiries from the seller. In order to be safe, I suggest going to another seller to just get an adapter to fill the smaller tanks.
I tried to refill the bottles for a long time before finally removing the blocked tank from the unit. They no longer needed to pay $35 for the service. The bottle costs $15 and has 00 bottles. There is a scam involving $100 recycle bottles. Rather than having to pay $15 to $35 dollars every time you need to replace a tank that only holds 14, it is now possible to directly connect the large 20 pound tank directly to the sodastream device. The amount of CO2 is 5 ounces. Only $18 is required to purchase a 20 pound tank. It costs around $20 to refill and will last for a year. The fact that I finally found a workaround that saves me hundreds of dollars a year brought me great joy.
The appliance is compatible with my soda stream genesis (original model) and a tank that holds 10 pounds. The device works flawlessly and is highly reliable. This means that a regulator is not needed (the soda stream is In order to be safe, I turn off the tank between uses since I don't trust the plastic parts of the soda stream to contain a lot of valuable carbon dioxide. My tank was purchased from AirGas, which swaps tanks for free so you never need to pay for a pressure test. While a 10 lb tank works well, if you wish to use it as co2 for a kegerator, you might want to reduce the volume to 5 lb in order to fit this into.
A reliable product failed after about 30 days. Worked fine for about 30 days before failing. Towards the end of the fast concentration, the hose completely broke away. Your money will not be wasted.
Her soda stream is a lot like my mom's. Having to refill the tanks was getting incredibly expensive, so we purchased a CO2 industrial tank for her. In order to take the pressure we had to get a hose that would work. The tank under the table had to be reachable with it as well. The system has been working well so far. First, there was a hose of the normal type. A hole developed in the tank and leaks started to appear. I'm glad to see that she has good ventilation in her home. If she had eaten it while she was asleep, she could have been poisoned.
I cannot say enough about how great this adapter works! Fizzy water and soda can now be made at a much more affordable price.
This is the perfect fit for my Sodastream Fizzi machine, as this requires no regulator. With a CGA320 thread, this screw will fit perfectly into a CO2 tank, and the other end will screw into a SodaStream tank. I received the package faster than expected! There is a real money-making opportunity here A real save!.
