GE WB30T10130 Genuine OEM Dual Haliant/Radiant Surface Element for GE Range

Despite the fact that it came packaged in two boxes, I saved some money on oem. Replace it and it's up and running in no time at all. The glass top is supplied with the item and I installed it myself after I had opened the glass top for my GE model (JB655SK1SS)
It took me about 15 minutes to install it all by myself. Get a picture of the connections so you have an idea of how they are connected. To open the stove top, you have to disassemble a set of two nut drivers that measure 2 1/4 on a side. The pvc pipe I use to hold it open is 2 feet long. You then want to take a picture (Under the Large Burner on the right-hand side of the main lamp) from underneath. I used needle-nose pliers to remove the connections and placed them back by hand. You must be cautious not to damage the wires by using too much force while pulling them out. Take out the 3 clips with needle nose pliers and then you should be good to.

It is too early to tell how long this item will last but it seems to be simple to install and the price is a little higher than other electric stoves but I prefer Genuine OEM Parts. I will update my post after less than a year.

The vendors do not include the dimensions of the element in their product description, and they also describe the part number in the wrong way. My burner is the wrong size and I had to buy the part from another online store, as the part number was right, but the size was wrong. Big waste of time and effort. See the size of your burner before ordering. You can find it on the label of your stove.

The used one that doesn't show has a 30% saving since it's in good condition. I had no problems with a direct replacement. Before removing the old one, took a picture of the connections and attached the new one in the same manner as the old one. The used, acceptable condition was marked with a blue marker line but no one can see it after the cooktop was installed on it.

I was pleased with how well the product was protected and packaged. One of the pin block connectors was already "broken off" when I replaced it, so I could not use the wire connector from the old wire harness. Rather than using the block connector, I had to directly solder the wire to what was left. I had no problems with everything in the end, but I would be cautious of buying something like this "used" again. It is worth staying with a "new" product even if it is a bit more expensive as a whole.

Besides not having enough time or money to spend on replacement stove parts, I'm a single mother of three. took me approximately 15 minutes from the time I flipped the breaker off to the time I flipped it back on again. was quickly able to reinstall the stove top after receiving it, and my stove top again worked and was ready in no time. I love it!.
