There is no factory air filter on my Fridigaire "professional". Then I can just hang it in my fridge, right? The outlet of the air duct should be located there, right?

You can place an open box of baking soda on one of the shelves of your refrigerator if it does not have a filter. It is recommended that you replace it every month or two.

There is a tube of transparent plastic that separates the inner and outer filter elements of this filter, do I need to remove it before installation?

During shipment, the filter is sealed within a plastic bag for protection and sanitary reasons. In the refrigerator compartment, remove the plastic and install the filter as is.

My Frigidaire refrigerator does not have an AFCD Air Filter and I can't find it- Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

It has slots around its edge. A round housing lies directly behind the water filter housing. The slots look like they have a hairbrush or some other object in them. A white button is located halfway back on the housing to the left. It lets you open the housing to remove the air filter. Hope you have a good day!

I got an incredible 7 years of use from the first one. There is no need to buy a copycat product since the factory one fits the fridge and is accepted by it. The following information should be noted Installing it is a simple process To replace the old hatch, open the hatch, replace the old one, close the hatch, and then reclose it When the filter monitor is green, turn it on the panel Consequently, you will hear a beep twice. Do that again to stop the beep/beep that went off when the previous one died. Holding down the reset button is known as setting Located on the fridge panel is a button that can be used to set the temperature. installed it and it was fresh and connected to the panel right away. After a power outage, there is no power. As if it was burnt out, it beeped again. In my call to the factory, the rep said I should reorder It is recommended to install it as if it were brand Return to step one and repeat To turn off the annoying beeping, set it to "off". It's always a good idea to give the fridge an hour before you try it again if the 'beeps' occur because of a warm fridge An environment.

It worked well for me because smelling my fridge different when I changed the filter but can't compare it to anything else and can't comment on I don't know how else to put it.
