Be sure to use the original as a stencil and save the extra for future projects. A very good product at a great price. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to buy a new Mica Sheet.
The website provided instructions for making repairs using these materials, but it failed to identify a vendor where the materials can be purchased. When I saw it on Amazon, I ordered it right away because multiple pieces were so reasonably priced. By following the YouTube video from the other website's repair guide, I was able to make repairs by using only one of the four pieces, which cost me around $6. Since I didn't have to buy a new replacement unit for the repaired unit, I saved about 10 times the cost.

Although the model of microwave I needed to repair didn't seem to be listed (it was too old), I took my chances and ordered the plain sheets. I knew I would need to cut them Because I had no template (original was thrown away after falling off), I was hoping that with 4 sheets, I might be able to cut one that fit the microwave. It was easy to cut the sheet to fit and I was able to repair the microwave on my own. I also now have 3 sheets I can use in the future. I think it's the "window" inside the microwave that is made of some kind of special material. I noticed that my microwave was arcing when it came from this thing, and upon examination, I found that it had a small hole. My search for the "wave guide cover" led me to the google machine. Last night I bought this wave guide material from Amazon, and it was delivered to me today. The old one was cut within 5 minutes, and the new one was stuck into the machine in about five minutes. It is my profession to work in the micro wave field. This is better than anything else we've seen.

My freshman year of college, I sewed a new cover out of one of the sheets, and cut it down when I realized it was still a little large. Mica lays untouched on the ground, so I have tons of it I was able to do this simple repair for a low price. I'm still going to give this review 5 stars because the Mica only needed a small amount to be effective, and I have a lot leftover. However, I will make the following observations The product page explains that there are 4 pieces of Mica in this package, but when I opened it, only 3 pieces of Mica were in there. Due to the fact that I only needed a portion of one sheet, I did not need to complain to Amazon (since I did not need the other sheets that I got anyway), but in case others are getting shortchanged regularly, I thought I would at least say that I only got three sheets.
This cover replaced the original one that had cracked perfectly. Replacing an old cover is simple - simply mark the new one while using the existing as a pattern, then use scissors to cut it out. To have two more replacements in reserve is a nice thing to do in case anything happens to the originals. In addition to the very attractive price, I was also very surprised at how low it was.
