The 50cl glasses are the subject of this review. I wanted to match some existing glasses that said "40cl" on the side, but since the 40s hold 50cl of liquid, I figured the 50s would be perfect. They aren't, for the following reasons: The glasses you purchase here will hold slightly more liquid than indicated on the side of the glass. Having said that, these glasses are one of my favorites. They're sturdy as well as stylish. In fact, the 1950s provide more "head room" for beer, which is fantastic. Finally, the best packing job I've ever seen was on my package; You can tell that this seller is concerned about the items he sends. This package was too valuable to be destroyed by UPS.
One of these was given to me as a promotional item, which I promptly broke. This chalice was a hit with my husband because of the thick stem and comfortable grip. After discovering the small ones on the product website, I checked Amazon (as I always do) to see if they had a replacement. Not only did they have a replacement chalice, but they had three different sizes and at a lower price! The product website only had one size available, and the smaller ones were $2 more than these. I ordered the medium (the promo item was a small), and these are identical to the promo item, only bigger. These chalices are substantial in weight, with thick, sturdy stems and a sufficiently heavy bottom to prevent tipping. I now keep one for myself because they come in a set of two! I would recommend these glasses to anyone, but particularly to men who find traditional stemmed glasses to be too light and/or "dainty. ".
What can I say about these glasses that isn't already said in the picture? They're a good size, and they make me want to go around my house being snobby and asking people to fetch me things. Do your homework and bring me my slippers, just like you, peasant girl. I'll say things like, "Wench, my meal better come with some guacamole or you're going to lose your mind. " These glasses simply enhance the enjoyment of beer.
I adore these glasses, and while I'm not a big fan of beer, I use them for every single beer I pour from my taps. br>br>I'll mention that they break a little easily due to their shape, so be careful, but expect to lose some. One was lost when a friend knocked my beer over on the floor, and the other was lost when I used the dishwasher (I'm not sure why).
Goblets of exceptional beauty and quality! It's even better because the two I bought (one for me, one for my son) represent ten years of clean water for a woman in a third-world country. What a lovely Mother's Day or birthday present this would be! I would strongly suggest it! Enjoy a lovely goblet while doing something good for someone!.
My husband finally got around to opening his present, and he loves it. He can't seem to get it out of his head. He now uses his glass to drink beer. It's something I'd suggest to anyone.
The quality of these glasses is outstanding. It's easy to hold and has a nice design. They'd be great as a present, too!.
These were well-wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged securely. They're lovely glasses for Stella fans, which my husband had a few years ago and missed, so I had to get him some more to drink his favorite beer from! Sturdy and of a good weight. br>I would strongly suggest it.
