Questions & Answers

What's the best way to put the batteries in? There were no instructions included with the package. ?

The Magnum Plus isn't powered by electricity. There are no batteries required. It's a grinder that you have to do by hand.

Is there a salt mill as well? Himalayan rock salt is now being used. ?

The 9-inch pizza does not come in a salt version. Magnum Plus is a pepper mill with a diameter of one inch. The 6-pack comes in a salt version. Magnum of one inch It comes in white and grinds coarse sea salt; however, we do not recommend using Celtic, Grey, Himalayan, or Pink salt in our mills because those salts are not fully dried and can gum up or clog the ceramic grinding mechanism's teeth. Salt and pepper grinders are made to crush or grind brittle, dry materials. Peppercorns or salt crystals that are "wet" or "damp" should never be used. We recommend coarse sea salt. Approximately the size of a peppercorn, the crystals. I hope this has been of assistance.

Why is it so difficult to find a 6 inch version that isn't twice as expensive as the 9 inch?

We're the creators of the 6-piece set. inch Magnum, and a 9-inch Magnum Magnum Plus pepper mills are one inch in diameter. The 6- The inch Magnum pepper mill is currently out of stock, and third-party vendors are profiting from the high demand by charging exorbitant prices for the limited stock they have. When both products become widely available again in July 2019, those third-party vendors with their exorbitant prices will be gone. High prices will become a thing of the past. Furthermore, you will be able to purchase our mills at our regular prices.

What is it about this pepper grinder that makes it so expensive at $45? I already have it, but I've never used a different grinder. I'm simply intrigued. ?

Mine was $51 on AMAZON when I bought it in 2009. As a result, the price has dropped to $6.95. This grinds a large amount of whatever size grind you choose for less than 00. It continues to work as well as the day I received it and is used on a daily basis. I also have a 6" salt mill that works just as well; you get what you pay for in this case.

I wish you all the best
5/5

If you're a cook who enjoys pepper, this is the product for you. I'm 65 years old, and I've wasted a lot of money and time on pepper mills that don't produce the texture or amount of pepper I'm looking for. I didn't want to buy this grinder because I already have too many junk mills on my shelf. At my age, I made the decision that this would be my final attempt. I'm so glad I took the chance. This is a fantastic device. Finally, a pepper mill that not only works flawlessly, but also delivers copious amounts of pepper thanks to a fingertip screw on the bottom. I'll admit it: I enjoy cooking, seasoning, and the flavor of freshly ground high-quality pepper on my food. The Unicorn is well-made and attractive, but most importantly, after many years of use, I now have a pepper mill that will not let me down, even if I am the toughest and most demanding user. Thank you for creating such a wonderful product; I apologize for taking so long to appreciate it.

Not only is this the best peppermill ever, but it's also the most beautiful
5/5

This peppermill is not only the best in the world, but their customer service is outstanding. When I couldn't get the grind to adjust in December, I bent the mechanism piece that held the bottom adjustment screw. In my house, there are a lot of people cooking, and something always gets knocked over or dropped. As a result, I had to revert to an older one (of a different brand) that I had stashed in the basement. That was excruciating. I was lamenting the fact that I would have to throw this away when I decided to contact the manufacturer via email. I assumed there was nothing I could do because it was a few years old other than buy a new one or a part, so I emailed them over the New Year's weekend. They promptly responded, confirming that the problem was with the bottom bar and promising to send me a replacement. I got it a week later, swapped it out, and it's perfect, and I didn't have to pay for it! I can't tell you how relieved I am that it now works, especially considering how bad the other peppermills are in comparison. During all of my holiday cooking, I really missed it. So I'm going to order a new one for my son, who assisted me in using the backup mill during the holiday meal preparation. He deserved it for all of the hard work he put in while my Mangum Plus was sick. As for the backup, he said: "Mom, this is a complete waste of time. " Where have all of your good ones vanished to?.

When you use less pepper, you get more of it
5/5

I purchased this product because I was sick of standard pepper mills that required me to work out my forearm and bicep in order to meet recipe requirements. This came highly recommended because of its versatility and production value. I was a little disappointed in the product quality when I first opened the package. It appeared to be a low-cost pepper grinder. I filled the pepper mill with my favorite peppercorns and braced myself for a head-to-head battle with my old forearm/bicep workout gear. With this peppermill, I was pleasantly surprised by the increase in output while maintaining consistency in grind size. It was unquestionably the best of the competition. The old has to go, and the new has to take its place. My forearms and biceps aren't as big as they used to be, but my new peppermill is fantastic!.

Don't obsess about it
5/5

Okay, I gave it five stars because it's the best pepper grinder we've ever had. We've had two of them, and they're very adaptable; they work well if you want a lot of coarse pepper, but they can also grind it finely and quickly. It's a piece of cake to refill. Nonetheless. br>br> It does break at the bottom, and the hefty, heavy grinder, as well as all the peppercorns, falls out. This has now happened to me twice. Normally, I'd just dismiss it as a flaw in the design and move on, but man, it grinds like no other! So I emailed the company, telling them my mill had broken at the bottom, etc. , and promptly forgot about it. A new outer shell arrived a few weeks later, free of charge, and I was able to easily slide the old grinding mechanism back into place, and Voila! I've reopened my shop. The black shell is the cheapest part of the item, so it shouldn't be too difficult for the company to send you a replacement. Finally, I believe that a typical plastic container is vulnerable to dropping due to the heavy metal grinding mechanism inside. Although I realize that warning won't prevent people from dropping this item by accident, I thought it was worth mentioning. You should also avoid car accidents, in my opinion.

It appeals to my tastes
5/5

It's big. It appeals to my tastes. It's big. It serves a purpose. It has a large amount of pepper in it. There's a lot of pepper ground in this machine. It's made in the United States (using an Italian-made oversized mill). The grind size is easily adjustable; it takes about 5 half turns to go from the finest to the coarsest setting. br>br>The black plastic case isn't as swanky as a wooden or stainless pepper mill, but I figure it'll be easier to wipe clean if you're grinding pepper and handling a large cut of meat like a brisket or pork shoulder. br>br>Take a look at the photos to get a sense of the size of the grinding mechanism. The thumbscrew adjusts the grind size, and it should be simple to change from fine to coarse and back. If that doesn't work, try spinning the grinder backwards to clear it of any peppercorns. br>br>Given two half turns on the medium grind setting, the Magnum produced significantly more pepper than my Olde Thompson pepper mill (which uses a ceramic grinder).
