There are forty of these in my collection. And I've started switching to the Cuckoo brand, but the problem is that some people don't keep the food warm. Some people no longer fully cook their rice. These are brand-new units, by the way. br>I do not advise using it for commercial purposes. br>However, for the price, this product wears out far too quickly. It's possible that it's because it's now manufactured in China. Not to mention the fact that it is not made in Japan. Maybe.
We have two of these in our restaurant and use them once or twice a day, and both have recently stopped working after just over a year of service. We bought another set of two because we needed them, and after just over a year, one of them had stopped working yet again. It was a waste of money! In just three years, we spent slightly more than $1000! Purchases should be avoided.
Every day, we prepare 4–8 pots of rice. These used to last anywhere from 9 months to a year before breaking down. Now they arrive defective, and because I have to keep one on hand as a backup, the warranty has expired by the time I use it. These used to be great, but they've since devolved into garbage. With constant use, they can last up to four months. If anyone has a recommendation for a replacement brand, please let me know. Thank you very much.
We bought this for our large family vacation (there were 45 of us), and it was ideal for having rice on hand when we needed it, and it stayed warm all day (rice doesn't last long in our family!).
Every time, the rice is cooked to perfection.
None of the issues mentioned in the other reviews have occurred to me. It's simply effective.
Good value for money.
These are extremely well-made, and they also look great. They make a lot of rice (20 japanese cups, which are slightly smaller than our size cups), but it cooks up to be about twice as much, which is great for large groups and events. It cooks rice quickly and keeps it warm for hours without burning it, and it's simple to clean. We use them at least twice a month, and they are of excellent quality! I have two at home that I've been using for years with no issues.
