Although all of my knives are Wusthof, I use Everpride knife guards. I'd believe Wusthof if they said the knife cover would fit a 5" knife. I've discovered that putting the knife in an overly large guard makes it less secure. I only own one Wusthof cover, which I prefer to the Everpride; I apologize for not being able to provide a more detailed response.
The guard is slightly smaller than a four.

The seller was of little assistance. Very well-made, but attaching and removing this sheath from a knife blade can be difficult, if not dangerous. My seller, on the other hand, was the best in the business when it came to walking. I couldn't get it back because it was dragging.
The claim is that it fits up to a 5-inch knife; however, the cover is missing on my Wusthuf knife, which is 5 inches of pure German steel.
The job is still being done, but it has two cracks. When inserting and removing the knife, be gentle, especially if using a bolster or inserting the knife spine-down to spread the bottom/joint too much. br>br>I like that you can see right through the guard and know exactly which knife is inside.

Any paring knife will go well with it.
Advertise for a knife up to 5" in length. My utility knife is 4-inches long, as you can see in the photos. 1/2". Unfortunately, I received this Blade Guard before I received the knife, which meant that I had already missed the return deadline.
