My drawer is 3" tall as well, and it easily accommodates all of my knives.

And because it's made of a single piece of wood, your knives are resting on wood rather than the screws (albeit plastic-coated) that hold the various sections of other draw knife blocks together.
The block takes up less drawer space than my previous utensil holder, where I kept all of my knives. My knives are safely tucked away where they can't be easily accessed by children, and they're inside a drawer, not taking up counter space. br>br>Excellent purchase price; other stores wanted $10 to $20 more for the same item, plus shipping costs. However, if certain criteria are met, shipping is free at these establishments.
I bought this to go with a larger wooden knife holder I got from Crate and Barrel. This piece sits perfectly next to it, leaving enough space between them for a "honing rod. " The newer knives are now protected, making everything snug and secure. The order was delivered on time.
I was overjoyed to discover this slim knife holder for my three Zwilling/J knives. Knives by Henckles Twin. The wood is lovely, and it fits snugly into my knife drawer without taking up too much space. I'm extremely happy!.
