br>My only complaint is that they are way too expensive for what they are. However, because I was aware of the price before placing my order, I will not award a star. I'm looking at the quality and performance, not the price. These cleaners appear to be made of high-quality materials and complete the task perfectly. If they last a reasonable amount of time after semi-finals, they'll be considered a success. They will be well worth your money if you use them on a regular basis. br> I've cleaned my high-end honing stones with nylon brushes, pot scrubbing pads, and other scrubbers, but these erasers are perfect in comparison to the others. br>I have given you an accurate, factual, and honest review; they work as advertised.
Based on my experience cleaning ceramic sharpening rods with a regular pink eraser, I assumed this would be an excellent cleaner. It cleans if you wet it as directed, but I had to rub the ceramic rod 5 to 6 times as hard as I did with a cheap pink children's pencil eraser to get it clean. It's time to look for a more suitable alternative.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. It's fantastic! The stone should be clean after 2 to 3 passes. You'll need this if you're using a ceramic sharpening system. This was the most effective method I discovered for cleaning my dry sharpening system. After a few swipes with this, stones are sharp as new. I sharpen frequently and have used numerous sharpening systems, and cleaning them has always been a chore. This is fantastic!.
They work well on ceramic stones, and I'll give them a try on other items that need to be polished.
If you have any questions, you can use them to clean them.
The stone rods were cleaned, but not completely restored to their original whiteness; however, the rods appear to work better now that they have been cleaned.
Works as advertised, and the sharpening rod can be easily cleaned under running water.
It's great for getting rid of metal shavings from your ceramic stones. It's worked well on round hones as well as the spyderco flat bench stones.
