These are a little flimsy and easy to tear, but they provide enough grip to open even the most stubborn jar tops. Simply be as gentle as possible with them. It's a good idea to buy several because they don't last as long as traditional rubber jar openers. br>br>Kort br>br>Kort br>br>Kort.
This was most likely my fault, but in the past, when these types of gripper pads got dirty, I put them in the dishwasher in the basket and washed them, and they were fine; however, when I put these grippers in the dishwasher, they disintegrated. I'm down to one left, the one I didn't put in the dishwasher, out of four. Who knew? I doubt I'll purchase this brand in the future.
These are what I use as a non-toxic cosmetic. Under items with shiny surfaces (such as the box of Kleenex on top of the toilet tank), place skid coasters. While not actually sticking to anything, this type of material provides enough traction to keep things from skittering away. This was the quickest way to get the white material, and the round shape looks "finished. " A techno-doily, if you will.
After all, why do manufacturers put those tiny ridges all around caps in the first place? They're a nightmare to deal with! That is no longer the case! I've even used them to take a hose off a hose sprayer. I'd buy it again if I were a woman.
There's nothing I don't like about it; I haven't had any trouble opening jars or bottles since I got it, and it doesn't take much effort. It's amazing how well such a small thing can work for so little money.
Without this handy opener, I wouldn't be able to function in the kitchen. This simple piece of plastic can be used to open just about anything. I've been using them for a long time and can attest to their effectiveness.
They're the perfect size; there was a slight odor, which I washed out with soap and water before drying. There is no longer any odor. I didn't expect them to be as thick as they are. Hopefully, this indicates that they will last longer. I would purchase this item again.
Excellent for opening jars of all sizes, as well as other household items. My previous set began to break down after about ten years.
