Is it possible to use this on a pocket ulu?

Yes, uku is a good deal and it works. Only because we Texas sportsmen have never seen anything like it, it takes a little getting used to. Purchase the ulu sharpener as well.

I'm disabled, and it's difficult for me to use my arms; is this sharpener simple to use, or should I look for something else?

For $13, I'd go with the green one. 00 - $15. 00 bucks. In my opinion, this is a regular knife sharpener rather than an ulu sharpener. I'm not sure if the green sharpener is more convenient for you, but it will sharpen your ulu properly.

Is it possible that we're using this sharpener incorrectly? When my husband uses a regular sharpener to sharpen his other knives - Isn't it true that they're a lot sharper than my ulu?

The Ulu only sharpens on one side, so make sure he's sharpening in only one direction and on only one side. The Ulu doesn't sharpen as well as my good kitchen knives because it's designed for different purposes.

The blade of the Ulu knife is sharpened on one side only. This listing is for a two-sided shaped blade.
