It's hard to say what makes these cake cutters so special. We are stinking. I love it. Packaging - plastic bags, tissue, styrofoam - was unique, but it did not affect my purchase In the packaging, I could really tell the quality was there, and I loved it. I love the gold it looks pretty much like a mirror, and the pattern is stunning. These are the most perfect pair I have found. They are also nice and heavy and have great weight to them. I looked for a long time for a set like these which fit my needs and were worth the money. One day, I will pass them down to my children. I do not think you will be disappointed if you purchase them.
