Questions & Answers
I've never been to Italy, so I can't say for sure if they are. They are small enough to fit in my hand and are smaller than a typical spoon. The scoop portion of the spoon is about a third to a quarter of the size of a standard tea spoon.
I've had these for a long time and the box has vanished, so I'm not sure. They're one of my favorites and I use them all the time.
The design is unmistakably white, and it bears the famous blue Italian Spode design.
It's not made of plastic; I believe it's made of porcelain or ceramic - At the very least, there's some glass. as if it were a brittle type of fired material high-quality product

It appears to be a "replica" product rather than the original Spode. Unless the quality of Spode has plummeted. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The Teaspoons arrived in their original factory box, unwrapped, with a postal label affixed to the box directly. As a result, they can no longer be given as gifts. Who wants a gift that includes a postage stamp? 3. br>br> 4. br>br> 5. br>br> 6. b Although the quality appears to be inferior to that of old good Spode, the teaspoons appear to be of good quality, but the metal feels thin, and the spoons are almost flat, with less than 1/3 of the volume of a standard teaspoon, and the balance is off. br>However, for the $19 I paid, I chose to keep them.
This cake/knife server matches my dishes, but even if I didn't have Spodes Blue Italian, I'd love it because it's pretty and festive for special occasions or everyday pie or cake. The one caveat that may deter some people is that instead of throwing it in the dishwasher, you should rinse it with hot water and dry it. This is a lovely gift that will be appreciated but won't cost a fortune.
This was purely a personal indulgence. I have a lot of blue and white china that I don't use. Misaligned. This cake spatula isn't the most efficient or ergonomic on the market, but it does the job for me.
I was under the impression that I was making a purchase from Italy. Instead, I received a Chinese item.
Only that lovely box with the spoons arrived with the package. They should be sent in a separate envelope or box because the shipping address was pasted on a large sticker on this lovely box. So, if it's a gift, it'll look terrible because it won't come off the box without ripping the lovely box apart, which is a shame. You should enclose the lovely box in an envelope for future orders.
The forks came in a Spode box, which is ideal for storing them when not in use. When held in the palm of the hand, they have a nice weight and balance, are visually appealing, and, of course, complement the Blue Italian collection beautifully.
I wouldn't use this as a regular pie/cake cutter because it has a cutting edge on one side. This is something you should keep in your back pocket for special occasions.
br>They are very attractive and stylish.
