An original Premier Shun "Limited Edition" knife, its handle is different from that of other Premier Shun
Four inches is the length of the handle. I highly recommend this paring knife. It is very well balanced.

In the premier series, the pommel is different, whereas in this version, the pommel does not include the new, nice design. By the time the handle terminates, the round tang is visible through its wooden Does not look as nice as the others in the set, and worse, it doesn't match them. Despite its faults, the knife worked well. It arrived very sharp, and I found it comfortable to hold.
The end cap was only $65 and I didn't feel like spending another $85. Considering its low price of less than $60, it's an incredible deal. A sharp out of the box product with a beautifully finished appearance. This knife is well balanced and has a wider blade thickness at the handle than those typical of a 4" paring knife, but it fits in nicely with my non-paring knives It is essential for professionals. There is something a bit off about this blade compared to my other Shun Premier blades, but I'll let you know what I think.
It's nice to have a Shun knife in your hand. It really does make a difference to have them. With the smallest of cuts, this product cut neatly through my fingernail and fingertip without any difficulty!.
I am impressed with how well it arrived and how easy it is I find the size ideal for all the food preparation tasks like chopping garlic, cutting fish, trimming vegetables, etc. It is designed to be easy to maneuver for fine work as well as medium work so I don't have to use my chef knife just to chop an onion or cucumber. Considering the price of $50, it is definitely worth every penny. In addition, the aesthetics are fantastic as I receive comments all of the time. This knife is a great entry level knife that has the same quality of a $150 knife, but at a better price. It is the "Limited Edition," which simply means that the metal cover piece on the back end has been removed. A set of Shun knives with the metal back once belonged to me and this one was included in that set until it was lost. I agree that the metal end looks nice, but it's not worth double the price for the knife. If all these Shun Premier knives were $50 or less, that would be fantastic. If you are willing to spend $100 on knives, I would recommend a set, but with knives costing $150-$250 on average, it is expensive to have a If you need two knives, you can buy this Paring knife and the Chef's knife and you will have the two knives you need 90% of the time. The product was packaged nicely and arrived on time, so nothing to complain about It has a great feel that most people love, although the small size means that it may be uncomfortable for someone with big hands. As a paring knife, however, it is still a great handle.
I have three other Premier shun knives. After the first one was returned, I reordered one thinking it was defective and received the same results. On the main picture, there was a reason to cut off part of the handle. Keep away from her.
It is sharp, looks great, and cuts very The first thing I tested was a bag of radishes and it cut them up like radishes did with a high-quality knife. This is one of the best prices I've seen. My only complaint - and to be fair, I have to take responsibility for it - is the cost. A lack of end caps results in a ragged edge. It seems I just thought it was a cropped photo I think I should have done my research. This knife does not have an end cap, so it does not exactly match the rest of the Premier set that I purchased. It is what it is. find it hard to believe that adding the end cap to the "standard" Premier pairing knife would cost that much. Oh, and I received a 4" pairing knife (as noted In either case, I couldn't give a damn, but for your information.
Seeing the sale price, I was eager to purchase this knife since it's almost half the normal price. We have other Shun knives and have purchased them for our daughter as well. Metal end caps do not miss us at all. We have no issues with the quality. The rind of a Mellon just sliced through it like butter when I asked my wife if it would be sharp and she just gave me a look and said yes, it's sharp. I would definitely recommend this knife.
In addition, I like the appearance of the handle and how it feels in the hand.
A razor blade would be an analogy for this. Depending on what you cut and how often you do it, you will need to sharpen! It is a serious knife. I like a fine stone for sharpening metal, like Gerber! A knife like this can be passed down from generation to generation! It's hard to choose just one Shun knife to love! They would have been useful to me long ago if I had found them sooner!.
