This is a Lansky killer five out of ten times
5/5

My copy of the book arrived I like how it feels high-quality and how easy it is To date, I have been able to sharpen BD1N, 12c27n, and 8cr13mov with it, and it has done so All around better than a Lansky kit or a field sharpener at random. The KMEs and ViperSharps of the world will not be able to compare favorably with this. I would recommend it without a doubt. A critic's only complaint is that I'd like to see them launch more complete stone sets, including strops for faster stock removal, a coarse stone for even faster stock removal, and a finer diamond option to augment.

My jaw dropped when I saw that
4/5

After watching a video about the person who designed it and the sharpener, I decided to purchase The simplicity of its design and ease of use made it appealing to me, but the price made me even more interested. I was hesitant at first since I already owned the Ken Onion Edition Knife & Axe. When we tried to sharpen one blade, we returned the Tool Sharpener and never touched it again. Although that model may seem like an ideal option for others, if you're like me and have difficulty maintaining a steady angle and moving the blade across abrasive in a smooth motion, you may remove too much metal and the blade edge will In the years I have used The Razor Edge System, I have yet to find a sharpener that can match it for edge quality. I have looked at other sharpeners with this basic design, but most are far more expensive. Even without an instruction sheet, this sharpener is easy to assemble. There are only four pieces in all. Because of its small size, it can be taken anywhere. I set the abrasive on the edge of my knife and adjusted the angle accordingly, just by looking at the edge from the side and cleaning off the edge. The abrasive grades are great for quick edge cleanups or putting an edge on dull knives. If you already have an edge to start with, you can use the sharpie technique just as easily. In addition to holding my pocket knife firmly, the clamp also held the clip to my belt. It is easy to flip the knife over and back with a push of the button on the back of the chassis. It could be improved in the following ways if I could reasonably make any changes to it The following codes are 1 to 12 A bit more width is needed for the abrasives. It's easy to roll an abrasive plate that has a 1/2 inch width and lose flat contact with the edge of the material. The sum of 2 and the sum of 2 is You may need to tighten the abrasive rod fitting. It appears that there is a little play in the rod when moving the abrasive holder up and down. The numbers 3 and 4 are the results I'm not sure how it will become looser over time, but right out of the box I had to use both hands to press It is very easy to use, beautiful to look at, and very affordable. I highly recommend it.

This sharpening system is the best on the market! Work Sharp is known for giving the best value for the buck, and that's what they strive to provide for consumers
5/5

If you own a Ken onion angle set or a bench top sharpener, you will be familiar with the plates used on this system. Grit is 320 for diamond plates and 600 for sandpaper. I'm not sure about the ceramic, but it works the same as those which are within a range of 1000 to 15 000 I am very impressed with the ease of use of the 1500
clamp. A button is located at the back of the unit that allows it to rotate. * You can easily sharpen a chef's knife of 8 inches. Finished a shun just now. My wife was so comfortable using it she didn't feel afraid. To sum it up, it would take you four hours to complete this course To get anything even close to that, you have to pay 5x the price. My system is a high end system, so yes, I have them all. You did a great job. She was very comfortable with it when she first started using it. The very fact that that is so The knife community at large has been enjoying this system for over 80% of the time. In fact, I'd bet that it will be upgraded with more modules to make it more versatile in the future.

I find it to be an excellent value, with only There are a wide range of uses for this device

If it had a courser grit for reprofiling and a polishing option like a leather strop, I would like it more. Several fit and finish issues needed to be addressed, such as sloppy paint on the angle markers, the magnet that holds the rod in place was glued in crooked, and the plastic package inside the box keeping the pieces separated was all but torn. I took off one star for these reasons, but overall it still remains an amazing value, and none of the issues I encountered had any impact on its functionality. There's no doubt in my mind that this book is worth checking out. BUILD A SHARP WORK ETHIC There should be more choices for grit if you're reading this!.

Things have changed a lot since then
4/5

The first time I got this unit I wasn't too crazy about it, but after using it a lot more with the 3M lapping films it has become a lot better and it is easy to get a mirror edge. The unit is the best on the market for the price. A Wicked Edge would be your best option if you want something better, more professional.

We got this in today and we are very pleased with it. My edc knives are all ready to be sharpened, I sharpened out a chip out of a slip joint, and I re-edited the edge on my wave. I really like that it is a breeze to use, has no learning curve, and does the job perfectly!.

The results produced by this sharpening tool are outstanding
5/5

It is simple to use and gives excellent Easy to set up and secure, the angle adjustment stays in place while using it. There is a rubber seal inside the clamp There is an 1876" (3/16") thickness to the plate. Ideally suited for pocket knives and kitchen knives under 8 inches (20 cm) long, this sharpener is the most convenient. A fine ceramic polishing stone, 320/600 grits, and a 320/600 grit abrasive are also included. diamond stones in the 320/600 grit range should last a long time. As time goes on, I would expect WorkSharp to offer more grit levels. You can get a $50 gift certificate Despite the low price, this sharpening system delivers professional results at a fantastic value. Just a little pressure is all that is necessary. The stones need to be a little bit heavier than the weight of the stones alone. When it comes to safety, if you hold the stone carriage by its handle and do not apply heavy pressure, there is very little possibility of it slipping. When you are impatient, you use too much pressure.
