It is essential that you get the 1 if you intend to pursue ceramic and strop. The fourth section. Using a 6 micron ceramic, start with a coarser grit strop first and then work your way down to a finer grit strop. As a personal recommendation, I would get away from ceramic and strop stones and begin using diamond lapping film after buying a diamond/glass stone 1500. I think it's a better option than using a strop, and it produces a much sharper edge than a strop. A perfect mirror edge can also be achieved if you apply the films to the mirror with fine enough care.
The dullness of the blade will determine how long it lasts. Whether your blade is chipped or really round over, you can start with 100 or 200 It is recommended to grind back at 200 to get a uniform finish. You can then go to 600, 800, 1000, and If you are going to use the knife frequently, then this should suffice. Keep in mind the knife came from the factory with a grind and not a honing. You can use lapping paper on the bevel if you want it to be mirror-shiny. A super chrome upgrade will be available to the 3200 to the 6000 The shine of the sun.
It is possible for you to do so. When you need a highly refined mirror edge, you might be able to save time by using It does not matter in the long run which set is set first. 1/0 will be more useful to you if you spend more time with it. You will get a similar result if you use 5 sets of strops as opposed to multiple A little bit more time is all it takes.

The price is excessive for the value they provide. Once you've done the work needed before stropping, they work well and polish a blade to a mirror finish.
As well as the 5/3, I have the 5/2. The 1 strop consists of five strops. Following up the 5/3 with 5 strops is a great idea. It doesn't seem like there would be much of a difference between 3 and 4. The ratio is 5/1. I believed there would be 5, but there isn't. If you're looking for a super sharp edge and polished finish, this is the product for you.
You have added a great new feature to your web site.
Whenever I sand, I mix my own mixture of abrasives. It works great for me.
But I do. Anyway, I digress. There is no need for these, but they do give the blade a little bit of a shine. In my opinion, I have not been ripped off and I enjoy my purchase. If I had to choose, I would choose.
The use of strops is important, but these strops have many obstacles in their way. 1) They are not perfectly flat whilst 2) The diamond paste used to cover them is messy and expensive whilst 3) They are easy to cut If you are going to strop, it is important to reduce the sharpening angle. You tend to forget about it easily. It's much more straight-forward and less complicated to work with glass platens and lapping strips.
That mirror edge will look great with it.
I use it to make my blades look like they have a mirror finish. I took a bit of time to get it to this point, but the finished result is quite nice.
