After reading some of the reviews, I almost didn't buy this brush. Nevertheless, I am very happy with the purchase I made. There is no overly firm or overly soft feeling to it. It has a decent number of bristles and it's pretty impressive. Do not be nervous if you are like me and are a little hesitant, this brush is very good quality.
When you pay for something, you want to get as much as you can. In this case, a little bit more was delivered. In fact, it does roll the edge into a burr, so wearing a leather strop afterward makes an enormous difference. Here they are at a 1000x zoom (for relative size comparison, a ball from a ballpoint pen would take up half the pic) and you can clearly see the rolled edges. Due to whatever reason, it is difficult for me to remove burrs on the harder steels (maybe I am just bad at it). In the past few months I've purchased a system that uses stones that get increasingly finer and the results are much better, but could not honestly claim they're 10x better (I suppose that reflects The result is that it can take a dull blade and restore it to service for almost all of your daily tasks with this product.
