To use the sharpener, you just have to position it on a flat surface with the screw facing up Pull the top half and the blades should be on the bottom half. Remove the top half and the blades. You now want to lift one blade and place it into the slot of a second without rotating or flipping it, and the second blade into the first. Once you have done so, the dots on the blades will continue to point in the same direction. The tail end of the handle should be facing you. There's no difference except for the order in which one blade follows the other.

The reason is as follows. It's evident when reading over both the negative comments and the positive ones that this knife sharpener is a significant difference between "This is amazing!" and "I hate it!" You're destroying knives with this junk!" and "you should have bought a better knife. " The truth is, it's equal parts of It seems as if this device, especially for the price, really works miracles and can put an edge on the dullest, oldest, and crappiest knife in your collection. In fact, it will (and aggressively) shave the knife edge into the fixed taper the sharpening edges of the handle are set at, and compared to the dull piece of crap edge your knife used to possess, it will look as though it had a new edge. I think it's amazing for people who buy cheap knives but don't want to spend the time or energy on properly sharpening them. Razor all the crap out of your cheap knives, resharpen them as often as they get dull, and when they get ruined, throw them out and buy some I don't want to pass judgment, but if you fall into that category, what this product is perfect Just keep sharpening until the blade is too damaged by this thing to survive any longer, so you would rather have a dull knife than a sharp one. Another group of people from the same tribe says, "this thing is a knife-destroying piece of junk!". I agree with those folks as well. Exactly. This is going to give a cruddy old dull knife a new edge. This won't put a proper edge on it, and it is far too aggressive. You are more likely to do harm than good if you drag a good knife through this. In order to take care of nice knives, one must either learn how to sharpen them yourself (I prefer the ol' Japanese whetstone method because meditating on it is fun and relaxing) or have them professionally You shouldn't feel shamed if you don't want to do the work yourself and want to hire a professional instead. Therefore, that is what you have. It would be cheaper to get knives that aren't long-lasting and you don't care about quality You want the knife to last or to be of high quality? This is your answer. I have tried it and it really works. What kind of knives do you have? This should not be used. You should not purchase one since it's going to chew up your blade and you'll regret every dollar.
The whole process went smoothly. I knew what to expect prior to What I expected from this product was that it would be cheap and deliver the goods. I did not expect the same level of blade sharpness and form that I get from my $500 KME Sharpening System. (To be clear, it is 60% as sharp as my KME sharpened knives)**** Ladies and gentlemen If you're in need of simple cheap kitchen knives and pocket blades to be sharp once again, but do not mind how much metal is being removed per The angle at which your blades are set is not important to you. With the AccuSharp sharpener, you can "Get the job done". We make it quick, easy, and simple for you. You don't need to wobble as long as you keep a constant angle. It is recommended that you place the sharpener on its back on a hard surface and sharpen the blade at a 85-degree angle If you place a sharpener on top, you will wobble because there is a 90 degree angle between the sharpener and the edge. wiggle, you will end up with a dull end product. I am including a picture of the recommended way to hold If you have yours in hand, pay attention to the illustration. I used a butterknife dull steak knife and with just 2 passes, medium pressure, its blade was sharp enough not to rip cardboard. After 40 passes, it was able to cut the cardboard I cut another 25 passes, ending with 5 lighter strokes each time, and it is about 60% as good and smooth as the KME system did for sharpening my knives. This takes a fraction of the time. Instead of carefully crafting individual documents, it takes a couple minutes. There is no comparison between the AccuSharp and other programs for both price and time investment. That knife sharpener is the one that convinced me to finally buy a There is an automatic sharpener available from the $125 model up through the $149. 99 model After comparing several knife sharpening systems, I decided to purchase the KME I know, it costs more than $150 and it takes more than two minutes to sharpen a knife, but at least you can use it! Nothing but a perfectly sharp knife with an incredible edge that lasts will give you greater satisfaction than handing one to your chef. Although there are other good systems like the KME, such as the Edge Pro, I decided to buy the KME after watching a couple of Youtube videos on a variety of higher end systems. If you want to sharpen knives, quick and easy does not work very well.
When I was so excited to try it out, I felt like I would be disappointed and I would have Then I realized how wrong I'd been. There is such a difference between a dull knife and a sharp one. Getting the perfect blade takes only seconds thanks to the AccuSharp. The device does not need to be plugged into the wall, and it has I will just be very straight to the point A product that does exactly what you want it to do. In the package, instructions are included for opening the tool and flipping the sharpening blades over. In the present day, this means getting two sharpeners for the price of one. If you somehow dull your sharpener, you get to effectively double its life span. I trust America's Test Kitchen-trust them like I did If you are looking for the best knife sharpener, then look no further.
