The knife works well for filleting, but is not so effective for cutting When filleting fish, the knife cuts like butter, but if you need to cut the head or tail, it is much more difficult For cutting the tail off, you should use a heavy-duty tape Despite its heft, the knife is a great addition to my Henckels set. My knife is made in Germany, and I can't figure out why they would make cheaper knives elsewhere. However, they do it quite frequently.
I have replaced the wood in this appliance because the wood was broken, so this is every bit as good as the original.
Simple to use, and if you take good care of it, it will stay sharp for a long time.
It is very sharp and works like a charm! I love the feel of it, it works like a charm.
It is a favorite of my husband. For Christmas I bought him a gift. The quality is a big draw for him.
