I have never been one for quickly jumping to judgment on products. I have always preferred to test an item first before giving it a positive review. The cutting board has been my go-to cutting board for the past two weeks, and I am satisfied with it. I find it to be perfect for my needs. I work with a board that is half an inch thick, and heavy enough that it does not slide as I use After two weeks, the surface shows little wear, as it has a sufficient amount of texture that won't make my knife slip when I'm cutting. The board I work on gets smeared with the juices from carrots, beets and other foods that stain at the end of the day when I cut a lot of vegetables and fruits each day for animal feeds. After spraying the board with a weak bleach solution as part of our regular cleaning protocol, all vegetable stains are quickly removed from it. Given the small price I paid for this cutting board, I think it delivers excellent value. It was manufactured and sold by a small business in the United States. The American economy needs our support at this time in particular. I strongly recommend this product as a great.
