The price is right and the product is fantastic. Cooking has recently become a part of my life again and I find regular knives to be a pain to sharpen. Many people use Chinese chefs knives for pretty much everything they need to do when they cook. You can chop, slice, cube, it does all of this. Further, the large surface area makes it easy for me to move my food around by a lot more than with the old knife. There was a lot of sharpness with my unit. The difference between using this knife and those old American ones is that I get very excited to use this one. Having collected these types, I would like to collect more. The knife is good to have in every kitchen, whether it is used for meat or vegetables. For people used to normal knives that are not that big, it will take some time to adjust to the large knife.
