That's how good it is! I am really impressed with the quality of this It is an extremely well-made knife, with great balance and steel quality, at an EXTREMELY good price. If you are ready to take your cooking to the next level or are starting to take in the culinary world, you will not regret your Food is only as good as its knife, and this one is one of the best available in this category. In fact, this isn't at all surprising to be seen in the palm of a chef's hand. I am very pleased with my purchase. If you are not careful, you may have some serious injury on your hands if you use something as sharp as this. Learn knives skills and watch some instructional videos on YouTube, because this is a knife that is incredibly sharp. My purchase of the knife was also completed with a paring knife, and I plan to complete the set.

There is rust on the pump after 4 months daily use
5/5

**update 3/23/17**Previously I was giving this knife a one star rating. Now I'm giving them a five star rating because of their great customer service. Several rusty spots on my car have been contacted Dalstrong and I've been seeking a solution for them. I received a response from Jessica, the rep at Dalstrong, relatively quickly the following The pictures and invoice from Amazon were sent to her as well as a few emails exchanged. I was surprised to find that she sent me a brand new knife without charging me anything for It's just that they want to rectify the situation. Apparently, the guy didn't expect that and was only looking for a way to fix the problem That was amazing customer service! I feel like I've been taken care of! The Dalstrong Chef Knife would be a great addition to my collection A series of Shogun swords. In the unlikely event that anything happens to this knife, I know they will back it up! This way, -Br>- This knife is anything but awesome after a few months of constant use. ** It rusts after a few months of regular use. Unlike most knives on the market, this one is quite heavy and I used this knife every day for cooking at home, not as a professional cook, and I became used to the size and thickness of the knife over time. The knife is now rusted because I used it every day for cooking at home only. I was very sad to see this knife rust! See the pictures I included. It's not a good sign for a knife that calls itself a high.

There is no limit to what this knife can do
5/5

Among the most important tools in the kitchen is the chef's knife. The goal is to make it as inclusive as possible Having a knife that can be used for multiple tasks This versatile tool is designed for those who frequently chop, mince, and dice as well as those who want to slice their food in thin, precise sections. After using Dalstrong knives for years and never being disappointed, I knew that this knife would be able to stand up to whatever I would give it in the As a result, I am capable of cutting through hard vegetables such as carrots, mincing garlic and onions, mincing onion rinds, mincing strawberries, and cutting cooked as well as uncooked proteins smoothly. To cut cleanly through a frozen ice cream cake this week, I used it to use a sharp knife to cut even and straight slices. The blade of this knife is considered full tang, meaning that a single piece of steel runs the entire length of the blade and the handle is riveted to it. The knife has a great balance and strength as a result. As a result of the smooth rivets that do not protrude from the handle, this piece provides exceptional stability and a comfortable, secure In its entirety, the handle is a beautiful black pakkawood handle imported from Spain that is laminated for additional strength, sanitation, and stain Having the blade polished to a satin finish ensures less food is stuck to the blade for frictionless cutting.

Caring for this knife is easy too. When not in use, the knife has a sheath to help preserve the edge integrity of the blade. It's not necessary to store this knife in a drawer I just hand wash it with a light dish soap and then dry it with a soft kitchen towel to bring out its mirror-finish. A knife of this quality should not need sharpening due to the quality of the steel and workmanship, but you'll also receive a colorful and actually interesting user's manual that includes sharpening instructions in case you need to. A wood board is also my only choice, as it is the least likely to dull the blade as compared to glass and plastic. Generally, this is the kind of knife that is passed down from one generation to another. It is impossible to go back to using an inferior and cheaply made knife again once you have experienced the ease, balance and precision of using this knife to make food. Having used this knife both professionally as well as every day, I have no problem recommending it.

It is an honor to have you as a Working in a kitchen means that all day I cut, chop, dice, slice, and shave things
5/5

80% of the cuts I make are with this knife. First of all, the grip is great and the weight feels really good if you want a heavy, and sturdy knife. I like how sharp the edges come and how well they hold. Once or twice a shift, I use the honing steel on it and have not yet had to sharpen it with a stone. After using it heavily for nearly two months, the battery is almost dead. In addition, I would like to point out that it can also be used on more delicate cuts. Tonight, when I made basil chiffonade, I was able to get very thin and beautiful slices and cuts. (For those who don't know what chiffonade means, it involves rolling basil leaves together and cutting them into very thin pieces Garish), but it also looks great

I was very impressed with this knife. It has a wood handle and metal engraves a gladiator image. Simply put, it has a nice look to it. There's been a lot of praise for my work. The majority of purchasers would buy the product.
