The forged version has been delivered to me. However, if you're interested in a chef's knife, I recommend the Victorinox.
Those headphones were made in China, not Germany, I believe. Henckels still controls the quality of the steel drops forge and hammered There is nothing wrong with them, they are just not German. A friend of mine bought one or two for myself, which are quite good quality, with a proper bolster and In terms of value for money at this price point, I think they offer a lot to the home chef.
For my knowledge, the price is 15 per side. You may call them to verify if you wish.
That wasn't the case with mine. Since I have owned this knife for over a decade, it is my favorite

I think it's 4 or 5 If it cost $15, I would give it 5 stars. Great starter knife for those who have never owned a "nice" knife before—well made, easy to sharpen, perfect for home cooks. My disappointment in the quality of the video is understandable. When I buy a knife from Henckels I expect a little bit more. Though it is not part of their Zwilling line of knives, it seems to be inferior quality for a $30 knife. Aside from my many knives that I own, I have multiple knives ranging from $9-$120 With a price tag of $175, I have many knives under $20 that are so much better built and presented than this knife.
First of all, I am very disappointed with the packaging. There are so many risks associated with it. I cannot take it out of the thick plastic package as it is very secure. When you open the package, the knife is so firmly attached to the bolster that you must cut around the knife to remove it (thus leaving the knife scratched or damaged). In the event the package is open, you have to pry it open with your fingers and the knife will fall off and can easily injury It is very important to open the package carefully. In general, the knife overall is very attractive and well made. Both the profile of the blade and the contours of the handle complement On the surface, the knife looks beautiful, but upon closer inspection, it is a little cracked. know you can't expect much at this price, but I have seen knives with a much better finish both on the edge and handle that cost much more. think the handle of the knife is the best part. There were a few small defects here and there, but nothing too serious. My hands are medium-sized, and the knife fits perfectly in my hand. I can honestly say it is one of the most comfortable knives I have ever held. Despite the knife's sturdy construction, it feels good in my hands and is easy to control. Due to the solid weight of the handle and sturdy blade, the balance is also just right. Aside from being shaped and well made, the bolster had a really nice appearance. I think the blade of the knife is the most important part of the knife, but the blade itself is the biggest problem. I loved how well it fit in my hand, it felt sturdy and it felt just like a much more expensive knife. Despite the slight bend, the tip was still usable. In addition to being bent, the tip of my $100 Zwilling 7 in pro was uneven as well. It was easy to work with my Wusthofs since they came JA Henckels' quality control at Zwilling JA Henckels certainly seems to have disappeared. It is ok that it is glossy/smooth, but I am not happy with it because the grounding I think it was okay - Initially the knife was very sharp (not a razor), and it could cut things, but it did not have a smooth or even edge. About one out of every ten people turned out. A 5cm part of the edge near the bolster was not ground down at all and was thus Because the edges of the knife were asymmetrical, it was impossible to make straight cuts with it. The grinding which was done on the tip of the knife did affect the shape of the blade's edge. In order for this to perform well, I will need to add a new edge. ****Update***
I am a keen home cook and I have been using this knife for over a month, and I am very happy with it so far. It is my favorite tool and my wife is also fond of I really like how light and easy it is The handle is solid and the bolster is thick so it has a good balance and a comfortable grip. A new edge was put on the knife after it was sharpened with a whetstone of 800 grit. Everything it touches is cut like butter by its razor-sharp edges. I've used this razor for a little under a month and it seems to be holding its edge well. I think it would make an excellent gift for someone who likes to cook.
I have shown you the packaging in my photos of the merchandise, which shows that all HENCKELS merchandise is fully guaranteed against material and/or workmanship defects. You can activate your lifetime warranty on their website by clicking the link. It is good to see such a Think about it. Although it is possible to put these in the dishwasher, I would not recommend doing so - It is designed for the microwave, however. Handwashing keeps hands healthy and preserves the environment Ensures that the blade it is made from is of high quality, as well as its The knife measures 13 inches long from the tip to the handle - Contains a blade that is 8 inches long (as advertised) and a 5-inch shaft A handle with a diameter of an inch. There is a Henckels, single-piece handle at the end of the handle A full-length person stick figure logo is embedded in a single piece of metal from end to end End of sentence. This tool is one of my favorites because of its weight of the blade, which does most of the work for you and reduces hand/grip fatigue with long cutting tasks, and because of the curved shape of the handle (see photos). You can hold the handle for as long as you like or just hold This is a great purchase at a great price! If you store him in a good container (such as a counter block or drawer block), it will last for a long time.
I have a sharp rusty knife. The Henckels knife set that I have had for about 3 years is all serrated, but the other two aren't. In other words, I was expecting the same quality in this as well. A slight rusting began along both sides of the blade stater within 2 months. Three months into the problem, it was getting worse. It was impossible to remove the rust no matter what I tried. I noticed the handle of the knife is cracked at four different locations after washing it for the last time. As a result, I'm very disappointed with this knife. I took good care of it, but I'm still disappointed with it. It will be refunded if it is returned.
This knife has a good balance and is easy to hold. It is hard to tell with brands like Henckels if their knives are actually good or if they are more concerned with trading on the good name of the brand than actually delivering what the customers want. I was not enthusiastic about the edge-sharpness of the knives we received. It holds so far, but I will have to sharpen the knife to see how well it holds.
A cook ex-boyfriend recommended me a knife that wasn't over $100. 00, but still good! That's all he could recommend, so it was an easy decision! My friend sent me a link to this knife. I love it when I'm prepping my meat because it cuts through with no My practice is to wash it together with the cloth So I go about it the same way, since he was always obsessed with hand cleaning his good knives.
Compare them with the Japanese KAI santoku knife that I purchased from Amazon Japanese, this knife is sharper than that one, and it has the same price. However this one is steel forged. The knife is available for $30, so don't hesitate to buy it. I think Amazon's web site should change the picture of this knife the logo of the knife and the handle are different from what you see on the Wep.
The knife is sturdy, sharp, and a nice knife for the price. You will need scissors and perhaps another knife to open it. It is hermetically sealed, so you will need to be very careful.
It is well balanced and has a good weight. This knife performs like a much more expensive one. It keeps an edge for longer periods of time and sharpens easily over time.
