I hardly know how to describe this knife it is simple, elegant, and functional. With its perfect balance and energy efficient design, it is both a masterpiece and a perfect piece of art. In spite of the blade not being light, the balance gives it an impression of being as light as if it were. Even though I have not yet used it at the office, I can already tell that it's a great tool. The knife I bought for chopping vegetables and preserving the life of my Artisan Miyabi Rocking Santoku(which is also a gem) was a necessity for me. There is no question in my mind that Yaxell Nakiri is of superior In spite of the special features of both knives, the Yaxell is the better deal. It was the only knife I chose out of all the nakiris I saw. From the moment I saw it, I felt compelled to hold it, but once I held it I knew I had made the best decision for its price class. If I had known how good this knife was, I would have paid 50% more. Buying it is a great idea!.
I am not a professional chef and have never used a $300 kitchen knife, but I do have a Mac Mighty that costs me about $200. I am interested in your medium-sized business It is absolutely the sharpest blade I've ever used. The handle and balance are just right for a woman's large hand, and it possesses excellent balance. At $99, it's almost too good to be true. It's a handsome knife without a lot of decorative flourishes.
As a gift for Christmas, I got several Yaxell knives. When the knives came out of the box, they were very sharp. Every meal that I prepare for my family has also been a lot more enjoyable with these knives. Since I have owned German knives for years, I have found it easier to keep them sharp with steel and to sharpen them with a stone due to the sharpening angles.
I use this knife for everything. It's sharp out of the box, and keeps its edge for a very long time.
I love how comfortable it is.
This is my first ever Japanese knife, but not my first premium knife. I wanted to gain experience cutting vegetables with a nakiri. By allowing this knife to chop as well as push cut, it is a pleasure to use, and it has gone through large vegetables with ease. The question, however, took me by surprise when it went through the whole thing and I was left counting my fingers. Having learned that lesson, I'm much more careful now! While I am not so interested in this style, it is executed well here. The mirror polish near the bottom is nice and the sand blast throughout gives it a nice look. In addition to being solid, it is also a large handle, which is probably more ergonomic than most Although there are lighter knives and more other knives that would be more my style, I bought this knife on sale and it has served me well.
I have become a very big Sharp as a tack. This handle is comfortable to hold. There is nothing to dislike about this knife. Also own a Yaxell santoku and a paring knife, both of which are excellent. The rest of the reviews are also noteworthy.
