Compared to the clasic, which is a little higher quality knife, it has a blade that is forged and a strong bolster where the blade meets the handle. Scales made of wood are used on the handles of the classic. Although it is not as expensive as the gormet nakiri, it is still an excellent knife. The handles appear to be polymer and there is no bolster on the knife. It is difficult to tell whether the blade is forged or not, but I think it might be because the price difference is not that large. You can get more information by visiting the Wusthof website.
The reason I bought it was because I saw Sam the cooking guy use one that he endorses. It is easy to work with, and it is a great knife. A Wusthof 8 inch chef knife and a Wusthof 10 inch knife are among my favorite knives.
There's nothing unusual about it, it's just a regular The sharpener I use is a Wusthof precision sharpener with two stages.

Whenever she needed a knife for a job, this was her "go to" knife. In order to buy the knife, I listed it on my Amazon Wish List and waited for the price to drop before making my purchase. I love this knife, and it does exactly what it is advertised to do. For most of my slicing and chopping jobs, it is my go-to knife, with the exception of when I need a smaller knife.
There's nothing heavy about this new design, it's exceptionally light, and it's perfectly balanced from tip to tang. My favorite part of it is the music. It is typical of the W to offer good quality.
I cannot think of anything negative to say about it. Aside from being extremely sharp, it is comfortable to hold in the hand. My opinion is that it would be a perfect gift for anyone, as I cannot imagine anyone not loving.
Not only is it beautiful, but you can use it to cut through even the toughest vegetables with ease. It is sharp and easy to use. The balance and use of the words are excellent. My recommendation would be to check it out.
The knife I purchased is my first Wusthof knife, and I am quite pleased. I have been using it for several months and it has been performing well. You can handle it easily, and it chops vegetables well.
When you need to thinly slice vegetables or get a thin slice of meat, this would be your best choice. No bones here, but you can easily slice thin slices of meat with this. In a good way, it feels like you are being cut with a giant razor blade. I have been using the knife for a few weeks now and have noticed some of my other knives are feeling neglected as it has become a favorite go-to tool for prepping.
This is the best knife I have ever owned, and I own quite a few. This is a highly recommendable book.
