Questions & Answers

Where can I get a sharpening stone? The Wusthof Company sells a sharpening system for Asian knives Knives of a certain style. Could it be used for this purpose?

It's a yes. The Wusthof Asian-style knife is a good choice There are several types of sharpeners. An excellent job is done by it. With it, you get a set of ceramic sharpening stones, both coarse and fine, set at just the right It has been quite a while since I bought this knife, but I still adore

Is there a sheath or protective cover available with this knife?

I love this knife. I think it's the best I've ever owned. There is no doubt in my mind that I will always choose The knife I use the most is this one.

Is it not recommended that one use the rustic Petec electric sharpener that is set to 14* to sharpen this blade, since it is setup to 10*?

True, and sharpening a tool this way doesn't produce the best results. Using a stone is the right way to go

This knife comes with no sheath or cover. Where can you buy one?

The Wusthof part number 9920-F you need is available from Wusthof Carl B. Sike must purchase a set of five. The knife as a whole, not the individual blades.

Definitely a great blade for the price! My friend recently gave me this kitchen knife, which is hard to find these days as it is stamped steel
5/5

It performs far better than many forged steel knives on the market because of its stamped construction. Almost any vegetable or meat that you put in front of it will be destroyed by The only thing I would change is for it to be more heavier so I could get I like how easy it is to sharpen and how well it holds an edge. My favorite thing about the Anolon knife set are its chunky, comfortable silicone grips, but I am very tempted to part ways with them in order to create a Wusthof set built I am really that impressed with it.

This is a great product for small I have a Razor Sharp
5/5

In regards to this knife, I believe it is a very good purchase. I added it to my box over Christmas. Light but rigid, the blade is composed of carbon fibers. Smaller hands should be able to handle these scales well. Weighing in at just the right amount, the weight is is already cooked and razor-sharp when it comes to your kitchen A sharp edge. The kind of sharp that is surgical. Using this, I have been able to chop vegetables very quickly. If I had bought one years ago, I would have been happy. In fact (as my wife just pointed out) this is the same knife made famous by Ree Drummond the Pioneer Woman. The warranty on Wusthof products is amazing and offers a limited lifetime replacement if they fail. You will feel like a true chef when you use this knife.

There is nothing better than the sound of the cat meowing
5/5

The Wusthof Grand Prix II blade is one of my favorites and I'm not sure why I bought it especially for vegetables. Whatever the reason, this has become my go-to knife for Easy to operate, light, and fairly sharp, it is suitable for a variety of tasks. My new knife is distinctively different from the typical Western style knives that I'm used to, and I was not troubled to adapt to it. Quite simply, I'm glad I bought it.

I liked the overall quality, but found it not to be as sturdy as I had hoped
3/5

There is a lot of sharpness to this knife, and it cuts cleanly. This was not what I expected since I do not like a lot of In that case, it will be kept as it matches my set and it cuts nicely. I have since sharpened it, and I still find it useful. There is no need to sharpen it frequently.

The light is too bright It's Best to Stick to the Classic Version
3/5

The pros are *Blade length and handle length are the perfect length My hands are just right for it. I find the product to be very sharp straight The cons are There is too much weight to the knife. The weight is zero. If only I could have ordered the 'Classic' version of this game. Despite the steel being thinner than better Wustof knives, it is still a flimsy knife. My fingertips are already dulling after a few uses and I've only been using it a little.

With its thin blade, this knife is easy to use and extremely sharp
5/5

It is exceptionally well suited to cutting vegetables, both hard and soft It is possible to eat tomatoes and potatoes as well. Furthermore, you can easily lift up the vegetables by tilting the blade as you scoop them up, so you can move them to a bowl, plate, or pan. In addition, it has a lot of storage space. My review is very positive and I plan to buy the sharpener to go along with it since I expect to use this knife often.
