The Tojiro knives I bought were extremely dull
3/5

I bought four (4) of them in total. Upon receipt, only one (1) of the boxes was quite sharp. It was a bit dull for two (2). (While Sur La Table sharpened the blades to a point, both blades had some scratches scattered across their length. What you are saying is not making sense to me. It wasn't worth lousing if they hadn't stopped after that Would you mind picking up the first The blade of this knife is absurdly dull, and I have not bothered to sharpen it. It doesn't really matter anyway, I guess. Shun knives are an incredibly innovative product. I have now purchased four (4) of them A 5" Shun Nakiri knife fits better in my hand, so I have replaced this one with that one. This knife is a practice knife that I intend to use to learn how to use a Thank goodness I now own Japanese knives instead of German.

The cost could be more and it might be better, but why should you spend more money? This knife has a price that simply cannot be matched
5/5

I can't recommend this tool highly enough. It's razor sharp, stays sharp, feels great in the hand, and has a sturdy handle. Besides that, what else is there to ask for? The blade is made of vanadium + chromium steel and features a rain-drop pattern Are you willing to kill forest to obtain a rare wood handle hand made by a craftsman designated as a national treasure of Japan? It does not have the amazing story that will impress people (or yourself), but I assure you it is just as powerful.

Very sharp Tojiro knife from Japan of high quality
5/5

Tojiro knives made in Japan are very high quality. It is incredible for its price. I am very pleased with it. It appears to be for the Japanese market, since all the text is in Japanese language, except for a few words in English, like "Our warranty is only valid in Japan. " After sharpening this knife, I realized that the angles I was using for my Arcos knives were incorrect, and I resharpened them all. The knives are now very sharp, but Tojiro's cuts are much better, smoother than other knives. A knife like this is very appealing to me. Thank you, I will buy your knives again! You have the best knives!.

Vegetable cleaver of good quality at a reasonable price
5/5

Definitely one of the best vegetable cutters out there. There are slight imperfections, but it cuts very well right out of the box, requiring some babying. It's very light on its feet and requires some cleaning after cutting (clean it shortly after cutting), and you'll have to wipe it down several times. It is rare for vegetables to stick to the blade unless they are extremely wet to begin with. However, carrots seem to adhere to the blade regardless of their moisture. Having said that, don't expect magical sharpness out of a relatively cheap knife this is a value product that deserves your attention.

The blades are extremely sharp and easy to work with
5/5

There is nothing that compares to the sharpness of this knife. Slices carrots and ripe tomatoes like a hot knife through butter, which is perfect for chopping vegetables. This brush has a wood handle that stays grippy even in the rain.

The one I turn to when I need help Vegetables are good for you! In recent years, I have developed a taste for Having heard so much about this knife from my chef friend, I wanted to try it out first before going further down the rabbit hole
5/5

Its simple design makes it easy to use and clean, and it's great for chopping and prepping veggies. As far as I know, it cannot penetrate bone, but that's not what it's for. Upon arrival it was sharp enough to use, and with a whetstone it is relatively easy to sharpen if necessary. It has a lot of bang for the.

We are talking about a Tojiro here
4/5

Those looking for quality knives on a budget will find Tojiro to be an excellent choice. There is no difference in this one either. This item was beyond razor sharp as soon as it came out of the box. I have only two complaints concerning the knife the handle feels cheap and it is not single tang.
