I would advise you not to do that

I have used it a couple of I'm not sure how sharp or decent the blade is. It may take some getting used to because of the style and design, but it is not impossible. The handle does not fit well/is poorly finished, so there will be no improvement. There are rough lines on the handle, the handle material does not reach the spine of the knife leaving an area of metal that creates friction, and there are sharp edges that could irritate you when pressing down. As long as you were wearing work gloves, that would be fine.

Despite the price, this is a great cleaver. It came nicely sharpened, and it is One downside is that it is much lighter than I had expected, so I have to put in a bit more effort when it comes to cutting through thick vegetables (like a cabbage head) or In spite of that, I am incredibly happy with the outcome.

My only experience with this knife is that while cutting frozen chicken(only one day in the freezer) it broke and multiple pieces were scattered on the surface. I would recommend using a thicker knife or a more durable You can also use this to season fresh meat and vegetables if you decide to purchase this.
