There was something about the cheap( made) teapots I had found at the big box stores that bothered me. I'm in love with this one. Teapot heats up very quickly, whistle is very loud (I wear hearing aids and sometimes I cannot hear the teapot singing), but those issues do not apply here. As for the looks and the finish, I also love them. This handle is strong even when folded to the side. It is nice and sturdy.

Since it was a gift and I didn't know until today, May 10, and since there was no window to return it yesterday (Mother's Day) this is embarrassing. Her teapot did not rust, and she followed the instructions to a T. I've never heard of a teapot rusting.

The one we have here saves us so much gasoline and time. We have silver appliances and other pots in our kitchen, which makes it look very fancy. It is a great book that I recommend to everyone. It is quite possible that I will buy one for my parents as well. It was my intention to purchase this kettle extensively before I decided to get this one. After reading a lot of reviews for this and other kettle, I chose this one and so far haven't had any regrets and should have purchased it years ago. A better kettle is impossible to find!.

It has been hard to avoid the learning curve since I cheated with another tea kettle. This machine was not only too quiet to be heard from my office, but it was rusted inside as well. The stainless steel is NOT what is described. remembered that I had missed hearing it once and left it on the stove long enough for the handles to totally melt. The following story is entirely different from the one previously provided. In my kitchen, it makes a beautiful addition, it whistles loud enough for everyone to hear, and the inside stays pristine and mirror-like This is great. I really like it.

It's no secret that Sweet Tea is my favorite beverage, so I drink it all the time, which is why I use my tea kettle frequently. Since this one was bigger than my two old ones, I chose it when my old one needed to be replaced. Since it matched all my silverware which has the rainbow finish, I replaced my old 5L one with it. Having used it several times since then, I love it. I just got it earlier this week. There's only one thing wrong with it, I can't find a fill line anywhere, so I guess at the fill line but so far I haven't had any issues with it boiling over. With its collapsible handle you can clean the kettle much more easily, and the kettle itself is really pretty. The thought of purchasing another one just so I have a backup has me considering buying one. The other night, my mom complimented me on it when she came over for dinner with my parents. The tea kettle may be too big for some people, but I definitely love it and think you will too if you drink a lot of tea like I do.

I love it. As for my kettle, I have a very specific taste. The one you've chosen is perfect for me. The color, the size, and the weight are all appealing to me. In this model, the handle breaks over so it can be filled easily and the bottom is large for faster heating. One I saw in WalMart for half the price looked exactly the same, but it was of significantly lower quality and would not withstand long term use like mine.
