In place of a real stainless steel kettle that I had for years and years, I got this one. This stainless steel kettle was advertised to me as a stainless steel kettle. A stainless steel kettle has the solid feel of stainless steel, but the new kettle is lightweight and very lightweight. Rust also accumulated very quickly on it. Stainless steel is very low quality in this thing if it has any at all. There is also the matter of the inside of the tank being coated with a frosted finish. This coating has a texture similar to non-stick, but I'm not sure what the name is It is coated with a sticky substance. It doesn't make sense to me why anyone would want to coat the inside of a stainless steel kettle that's used for only boiling This thing is just poorly built from start to finish. There are some positive reviews here but I think they came from individuals who had this kettle for a very short time. It is very pretty out of the box, but its low quality becomes apparent after a few uses when it starts to rust. I would not recommend this piece of junk.

I was using the pot to heat bottled water for baby formula and assumed it would be safe since it was Stainless steel does not rust when it is filled with bottled water. It is a very disappointing experience. A customer service representative is not responding to my attempts to contact the manufacturer. To find out if the item can be returned, I will contact Amazon. A RECENT UPDATE I received a courtesy phone call from the manufacturer who was in the process of replacing my kettle, offering to send a replacement after they discovered that I had heated ‘sticky substances’ in the kettle. A little put off by this since I only heated bottled water in it. It was ready to be sent back to Amazon when it was within my return period, and Amazon refunded my money without a problem. The kettle is beautiful, so it is extremely disappointing.

This is a beautiful piece. The whistle is loud and pleasant to hear. Additionally, the Handle is heat resistant, so there's no need for an oven mitt or towel when picking it up or pouring. It fell out when the whistle went up. In my cup, I had about 6 cups of water. As it whistled, the wind shifted. Once I turned off the heat and opened up the spout cover using the button, the whistle fell out right away. My return period expires in two days, so I'll probably return it. I put it back in after it cooled down. It stayed, but my return period has expired.

A nice aesthetic can be found in this item. Additionally, the small screw that moves the lever to open and close the nozzle keeps creeping out, making it impossible to open or close. In order for it to function, I have to push the cable back in. A few scratches are also visible on the handle that looks like it is made of nylon or wood. Unfortunately, I will need to return this item.

I haven't had any problems cleaning it so far. Resistance to heat is perfect. The handle gets warm but not to a point that it is problematic. The plastic is clearly not mooshed with wood, but, once again, that doesn't matter because the sculpture is adorable. Regardless of how long a look like mine looks compared to my old, somewhat outdated appearance- As wise as kettle, he took it. As soon as I moved, I gave it away.
