Each of its quirks makes it unique
3/5

This tea kettle must have an easy-to-remove handle so that you can let it go whenever you want. So many kettles have sexy looking designs with a fixed handle that you can't set them to fill on their own because the handle is in the way. I prefer to fill my kettle by setting it in the sink and leaving it running while the water runs. It's not something I'm going to stand there holding. In spite of all the positive reviews and the handle design, I purchased this kettle regardless of the rest of its features. Now that I have used it, I realize it has some quirks I wish I had known about before purchasing it. As far as the lid is concerned, the issue is main. It is not unusual for me to preheat my kettle more than once at a time in order to fill up various As a result, the lid gets really hot and is stuck on really tightly. The lid is so tightly fitted that I have to use quite a bit of force to get it off without burning my hand. For me, that is a huge downside. As well, the knob on the lid weighs more than the lid itself, so once it flips upside down, it is next to impossible to right it and make a secure fit Secondly, this is a large kettle by comparison to others I have had, and I am having a hard time getting it to boil. I cannot use it with my smaller burners (Bosch cooktop), and it is not big enough for my larger ones. It's early in the morning, you know. I don't have much time. A. & B. )For the positive, and this is a REAL positive the spout pours exceptionally well! tired of my kettles dripping boiling water all throughout my kitchen when I use them, and I would like to point out that this kettle dispenses water extremely effectively. Despite that, I'm not sure it makes up for the other issues. It is very easy to get a large volume of water with smooth motions. You won't have to worry that it will shoot out of the spout or that it will It's YOUR call!.

There is one thing a kettle should not do, and this is one of them
3/5

It looks like rust is starting to show It has been just over a month since she was born. It looks like there's rust. But it did one thing a kettle shouldn't do, and it did it in record time. You can't count on Had I listened to my mother, I would have been a lot safer. I hate it.

It's seriously not my cup of tea
3/5

Prior to purchasing the tea kettle, I spent a great deal of time researching it. There are many reviews on this model, and it has even been voted the number 1 kettle by a best 5 kettles review. This kettle is really not my cup of tea. Throughout the day, I use a kettle. This one has disappointed me in a number of Firstly, the spout is low on the kettle, which means that you should not fill it beyond the spout line. That only leaves you with about 1/3 full at best anything above that causes the water to sputter as soon as it starts boiling. It still bubbles over when it boils, no matter how closely I adhere to the "fill rules. " It leaves constant water stains on my black stove top due to this, and I am not exaggerating at all. Also, when you pour it just after it boils, sputters out all over the counters and leaves water all over the place. In spite of that, the whistle is so quiet that you cannot hear it anywhere but in This is not a good sign. Usually, there isn't a problem with the handle getting hot, but sometimes, if it has been boiling for a while, you will need to use a pot holder. In the past few months, I have cursed at this thing and I am looking for a replacement. This is particularly frustrating given that it is not a cheap kettle and it has received so many good reviews!.

The kettle looks very nice
4/5

I strongly recommend this book. I'm pleased with my performance so far. There have been complaints about the kettle rusting in some reviews. I was cautious because of this. But after a few months of constant use, the results were no longer satisfactory Our method of cooking it often includes leaving the water in it on the stove- Our water is not hard, so I am not sure if anyone would have a problem with rust on a heavy kettle that has a loud whistle. The kettle is heavy and does not rust. A whistle we had in our last kettle broke when it overflowed it was never the same after that. The whistle has not been damaged even when this flooded a few times. Maybe that's the only thing holding this back from a 5 star rating. In this case, it's very easy to overfill. An inside line seems to indicate the maximum capacity, but there may not be one. Nonetheless, it is a large kettle that I have no reservations about recommending. A person with mobility issues can also use it easily and without difficulty I splashed myself more than once with freshly boiled water when I had a problem with our previous one because it kept opening when I stomped around with my cane. That's great news. When you pour, there are almost no leaks because the lid stays closed until it is opened. Additionally, it is easy to clean, doesn't stain, and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It is also extremely difficult to scratch due to the brushed surface.

The Best Kettle In The World I am very pleased with my purchase! I waited awhile to give this kettle a review so I would be sure there was nothing to complain about
5/5

This purchase was the best choice I have made! I am completely satisfied! Even though it is not too loud, the whistle can be heard anywhere in my apartment. There may not be room to hear it on another floor if you live in a large house. An elegant feature of the swing handle is the provision for a cord pull. When filling, I enjoy the ability to move the handle out of the way so the handle does not get in the way. put the way you want it to! By simply pressing the thumb button on the spout, the spout easily opens. You don't have to worry about This is the perfect amount of space for me. I can fill my 48-ounce coffee press with plenty of water without having to refill the container. My friend and I both really liked the kettle so much that I bought another for each other. I am happy to report that he also likes his! In spite of the heavy use over the past few months, either kettle shows no evidence of rust. It is quiet without being a bit loose the moving parts are smooth and quiet In short, "ly".

Rusty kettle, but it is good
4/5

This overall seems to be a good idea The size, shape, and simplicity of the object. I like the comfort of the handle and the fact that it does not get too If it boils like it should, it will whistle. There is a major disadvantage to this product it rusts (see pictures). Within 6 months, there was a fair amount of rust on the inside of the lid and on the inside of the kettle adjacent to the lid. This has never happened to me before, as I had several stovetop kettles before and none of them rusted like that (even the cheap chinese noname kettle till I got it). This may be caused by the design because when the lid is removed or put back in the kettle, scratches are left on the body.
