Water seeped from the thermometer onto the copper, then into the stove, and caused the flame to go out, and gas to escape from the stove to the air. We got this kettle 3 months ago and haven't had any issues with it until now. Sort of a drag but I'm glad I kept an eye on it otherwise we would have had problems. It seems that this kettle doesn't work, which is disappointing because we really liked it.

In addition to the right roast and brew, I became intrigued by other factors that go into making a perfect cup of coffee, including a controlled pour and temperature. A goose neck kettle might have been an option, but I chose a simpler model because it was less expensive. Solid, efficient and attractive is what the OPUX has to offer. In addition to including a small booklet in the box to describe the pour over method for beginners, I'd love to see a handbook in the box as well. There's an easy way to find that information on It is possible down the road that I will need a larger kettle to serve four or more people.

The handle on the first piece of handle is damaged near where the screws are. It was a success for the replacement Opux is definitely not a place I would buy from.

Thank you! As shown in the picture, this is a very cute design. There is no feel of cheap light weight materials in the material, and it appears to be true stainless steel. The look is elegant and sturdy at the same time. There is a kind of loose tea you are supposed to not let soak in boiling water otherwise its properties will be lost. This thermometer works perfectly for it. It was just what I needed. Thank you!.

It is still melted at the top of the gauge, although I did exchange it for a replacement. I experienced the same thing with the second one as well. Is it worth it to return? I would have to lay out a lot of money for that to occur.

Although this kettle is a nice little device, it is utterly dwarfed by the burners on my BlueStar stove. The only thing I can say about durability is that I've only had it for a month. A thermometer on top of the lid is a great feature, allowing me to keep a close eye on the temperature at all times. A cup of boiling water shouldn't touch the grounds, and you should avoid it. After selling my large, oversized coffee maker, I decided to replace it with a pour over coffee machine, and I am happy to say that it has worked wonderful. With that said, the small kettle does have a couple of cons. The first thing you'll notice is how very small it is. Because it is made in this way, there is an occasional boil over of the water through the strainer. Another drawback is that the volume may not be enough for those who enjoy coffee in a mug. However, if you are just planning on having a cup of coffee or two at the most, I think this kettle will be sufficient.

It has been three years since I purchased this kettle. The kettle is still heating water and I use it daily. My most recent purchase is a gooseneck kettle, but I am still looking for one. It would be better if it were of higher There is no copper in it. We must be very clear about this. There is a faux copper finish on it. That finish will inevitably fade or peel away if not maintained. I've noticed that the copper finish has gone unnoticed on the lid, and that the finish is also barely present along the bottom of the kettle. As such, the claim that this kettle is made of copper is There is a copper color finish on the stainless steel. Although it is quite small, it is sufficient for pouring a small amount of liquid into You might be able to make two cups of coffee per kettle, or by the cup. Since most kettles of this type are approximately that size, it's not a huge problem. However, in my case, I have a 10-quart kettle. You can use the thermometer to measure the heat in the water. However, don't overfill the kettle then it will shoot boiling water like a rocket from the spout. wanted to pick the plastic handle over the metal one, you could say it doesn't feel all that premium, but it isn't I'm able to keep my cup tasting consistent each time because the temperature is consistent.
