I decided to go back to the basics after bad experiences with two electric kettles that were temperamental and short lived. However, despite the good reviews, there were many, many negative reviews about It was a recurring theme to observe plastic parts melting on the spout and Teflon coating peeling off the interior. The pot we're holding does not suffer from any of those conditions. It has a metal spout flap and is coated in baked enamel, except it is navy blue rather than the exterior. It is also a nice small size. It's perfect for those with small kitchens and for one cup at a time.
Tea kettles of this quality are hard to find. I like how it is weighted. The water in it must be thrown away if there is an excess left in it after I use it for 1 or 2 cups every day. The next day, I tried reusing the water, but my tea tasted like stainless steel because of it. The enamel kettle I used was able to be heated up with the previous days water, but didn't taste too awful. Then I fill it up with water and give it to my plants every day. There is no sign of rust on this. Heat is retained in the handle while it is easily hand-holdable. The lid opens and closes easily. My research led me to this stainless steel kettle, and I am happy I chose it. I am pleased with the results so far!.

The best kettle we have had so far. We had a very cheap metal one that lasted for a very long time but was hard to clean and was not all that attractive. The one we had for about the same price rusted immediately, and the lid stuck to it, and we had to clean it often. This kettle is quite beautiful and seems to be crafted well. This kettle has everything I love except for its whistling feature, which is the main reason I got it. Boiling and waiting were my tasks. We have not heard a thing. Incorrectly fitted clamp over the spout results in steam escaping through it and away from the clamp to create a whistle in the opposite direction. I am very dissatisfied. always dislike returning things, so I tried bending the clamp and it let a pathetic toot rather than bend. The design is nice, but sadly it does not work.
My opinion of the color is different from my initial expectations. The picture is a little less pale, and the color is a little more vibrant. The color is more on the sea foam green side of blue. After spending days shopping and reading reviews of tea kettles, I made my decision. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
