Do you think the bottom of the box is I have a ceramic glass cooktop, so anything with grooves, ridges, or seams takes a long time to boil. ?

(The open area on top of the lid is 4 1/2 inches in width)
5/5

There is enough clearance (4 1/4 inches) between the peak of the handle arch and the mouth opening of the lid for your faucet to pass through. The handle does not swivel, but the space is sufficient for your faucet. Having a tea kettle like this has been great.

The product itself is excellent
3/5

However, there has been some feedback regarding some issues. You might need to push down on the center cover properly to get the kettle to whistle. A second issue is that stainless steel can exhibit what is called flash rust, which is easy to remove and does not affect the kettle's integrity at all. In this case, the appearance is determined by the type of stainless used (typically nickel-based). Finally, if there is an interior deposit from hard or non-evaporating water, vinegar can be used to remove it after it has been poured into the empty pot and let It is possible that you will need CLR in the worst case scenario. To put it bluntly, this is an excellent product if you want to boil It does exactly what it was designed to do. When you have disconnected the top roll pin, you will also find a spring at some point in disassembly that you will have to remove in order to repair the slide action. Towards the top of the roll pin is the slot that holds the spring. Place the spring in the slot and insert the top roll pin loosely while holding the slide action in place. Insert the roll pin at the bottom of the slide action while still holding the slide in place.

If I could, I would give this one zero stars.

I consider this to be absolutely adequate

What a lovely little tea-time treat! This is a great kettle for a great price. If you follow the directions, the bad things you hear people complaining about shouldn't happen, and taking care of it isn't hard. There's no way this is a "top of the line" kettle, but I did own one once, and I forgot about the whistler, I chipped the enamel, and I left lime deposits inside. Just as we forget about kettles when we're casual about it. There is no better size for me than this kettle I like how pretty it is and how easy it is to use to keep it The only thing I'm concerned about is that it has quite a smooth bottom and tends to slide across the burner somewhat To properly place the item, you need to take an additional second (one second). Use of this product on a ceramic stovetop is not recommended You would be very dangerous if you did that.

That's awesome
3/5

I love it. In short, nbsp This Tea Kettle is actually one of my favorites. Due to the wide base, it heats up quite I've grown accustomed to the way the handle feels, but ergonomically the edges could be rounded a bit more to make handling it a bit more comfortable. My new kettle has a much improved mechanism for opening the spout than my last one. Only thing I find to be humorous is the literature which claims it is a pleasant sound. Listen to the video all the way through. Seeing as I love this kettle, I don't give a damn about it (I became frightened when I first heard it).

Let me know if you enjoy Not only is the product horrifically overpriced, but the design is also awful
5/5

As a large hand like mine I had a difficult time getting my hand into the pot so I knew it was dirty. The other problem, and the biggest one, is that you can't pour out of it without spilling boiling water everywhere. Either it drips out of your neck or you get a flash boil that splashes everywhere when it hits your neck. The last time I replaced this was far too long ago. Don't spend any money on something you can get half the price for.

When pouring, the handle can be used to latch the door to the spout
3/5

The lid can be left open while you pour slowly, which is very useful. Every time you use it, you should clean it with soap and water Unless you do this, the lime will build up easily and cause pitting. Teapots come with a spout (this is true for all teapots). The large opening allows for easy and fast cleaning. A great.

However, the quality of the customer service is not great
5/5

A back screw and plate holding the handle were still in the bag when it arrived. However, I doubt this will hold up in the long run, but it works as is and is inexpensive. There was also a hole in the metal on the inside of the kettle, but I hope it doesn't rust over time, but obviously not great quality.
