I got the two-liter size, but I wish I had gotten a bigger one. It was my first time using a pressure cooker, so it was definitely a learning experience. I overfilled it with a hunk of pork roast the first time I used it, and when it heated up and blew, it sprayed liquid all over the stove, floor, and walls. It took some stove tweaking to get it right, such as the top/valve not blowing out as frequently. When it does blow, however, it is VERY loud. However, it does the job. I had fall off the fork pulled pork ready to add to pulled pork sandwiches in a matter of hours. It should be the same for beef roasts and other meats. After that, it was a shambles, but it cleaned up nicely. For some applications, it's ideal.
Review has been updated: br>I believe the problem is with my Duxtop 8100MC rather than this. That induction cooker does not support this size. Others might be able to benefit from it. I'm just putting it down here in case it comes in handy for anyone else. Old review: br>br> br>A small circle sits in the center of the cooker's bottom. Induction is not present in this circle. As a result, my Duxtop induction cooker has trouble detecting it. It's extremely aggravating because it says ER every time. You have to keep moving it around until it touches the induction part. br>This is frustrating because the entire bottom part could have been induction. It works well when it recognizes it. It's just that it necessitates the use of a single person. Every time, it takes 2 minutes, which is extremely inconvenient.
I've used it a few times and it's always worked well. It's a little odd how the venting works. It makes a loud blast, then goes silent for a few moments before repeating. Otherwise, it appears to be well-made and attractive.
