I have not noticed any scratches on the glass top of my Induction range thanks to the smooth pot. As far as I can tell, the only way it could scratch the glass is if there were something stuck to the bottom of the pan and you slid it.
There is a one quart version of this product as well, I bought the two
You may want to try this if you have an induction stovetop If you plan to place pans / pots on the glass top, use a silicone mat. With the silicone mats, you can cook at temperatures of up to 400 degrees (much higher than what you would usually cook) without fear of scratching. By covering the magnetic field with silicone, there is no effect on it.
Magnetic isn't a magnetic field, but as it is advertised as an induction-type of field It should stick to a magnet once it is ready.

Having owned this pot for 8 months, it is in good condition. China produces cheap construction products typical of the country. The stainless steel is of low quality and flimsy. It is the lid that makes the pot so appealing. There is a lot of weight to it and it looks like the glass is Since I like a lid that can be seen through, this was good for me. In spite of this, the handle is spot soldered into the side of the pan, and only in three spots on each side. As a result, after VERY REGULAR use, the handle broke Yes, I think so. I love it! I ended up with a pot that I can no longer use. The pot did not appear to have been abused or even very often used. Pots and pans are usually of very good quality, and they live up to my expectations, however this was rather expensive for me. Instead of $30, it should cost no more than $5. It's not that $30 is much, but even at that price it is way too pricey for the dismal quality on display. As a rule, I buy French copper pans that are expensive, but I believe they are worth the investment. It looks like I will need to buy that You can't just have a low-cost item that I use for warming up a can of beans every once in a great while. A product like that couldn't even stand up to such a My number one star rating would be ZERO if I could. In my opinion, it is not worth a single star. I wasted my money on this!.
Based on reviews on another website, I bought this because it was highly recommended. The sauces I use it for, such as Hollandaise Sauce, are delicious. Despite my disappointment, it was an enjoyable experience. In addition to the low price, the boiler is very well constructed. It's the right size, the clear lid is convenient, easy to clean, and the bottom half of the boiler can be used as an ordinary pot with the lid attached. In my experience, I have used it for about three months now and have found it to be.
A double boiler I bought for my daughter two years ago was one I had purchased for myself two years previously. As for the bottom pot with a glass lid, it can be used a lot for vegetables, etc. But when you need a double boiler to cook icing, melt chocolate, and make custards, this is the pot to have and should always be in the.
This is far and away the best product for the price. The building is constructed to a high standard.
My needs are perfectly met by this pan.
I love how well it works.
Unhappy with the result. There are rusty nuts that hold the top handle on and I have no idea.
There was a dent on this item when I received it. Despite my warning, I decided not to send it back because I didn't want to deal with it. No harm was done, since the double boiler functioned well.
