These applications are well suited to it. The only downside that I do not like is that the bottom pot does not have handles, causing it to be hard to move when hot.

Does it really have stainless steel in it? There was a problem with this and I returned it

(It is from China) and it looks like the metal is striped. It may not even be steel, but a coating of some sort. Getting it is a bit of a hassle because the metal comes in a brittle plastic bag with Chinese stickers. My expectations were completely different from what I got.

Cleaning is very easy and this is a great tool to temper The making of chocolates is one of my favorite things to do

I am able to temper my chocolate much easier with this double boiler. Using this chocolate melting pot, I can melt the chocolate on a steady heat and it will be shiny. It is so easy to clean since it is made of stainless steel.

Very impressed with how well it Melt butter, chocolate, or candy melts with this perfect size saucepan. A quick and easy way to clean an easy to use appliance. We will also use this as a double boiler to cook cream for custard. As for how it goes, we'll have to see.

There is only one thing wrong with this recipe - the top pot is not big enough! It worked like a charm apart from that! Makes both chocolate and caramels melt evenly, and keeps them for a reasonable period.

In addition to the large double boilers I found, every other one I saw was too small. My goal was to have one that could hold small packages of chocolate chips so that I could coat some Dates and sprinkles with chocolate. You can find nuts and marshmallows at the store. You did a great job!.
