However, the size is very small, so I wouldn't recommend it. I am hungry. For years and years, I have been trying to make oatmeal the way my mother did it, without success. It took me very long to decide to try the good ole' double boiler, but this time I did and I got a good bowl of oatmeal! The oatmeal and chocolate dipped strawberries I have made with it were both delicious. In my family, both have been a big hit, and they are both very easy to use. Initially I was very excited about this product. However, I used it once and went to wash it, and the handle popped It is not affixed in any way that can be seen. I never encountered a pot with no hardware or means of holding the handle in place. I was surprised to find that the food sticks to the top pot quite a bit. It will have to go back. I apologize for the inconvenience. I will be searching for another that is the same size but better in.
