The unit heats up wax that I use for self-tanning A candle that has been poured. This is the right solution for this I have severe nerve pain so I have to use a bit of force to get the wax off after cleaning, but overall I am satisfied with this double boiler.

Made for a low price. IN YOUR FOOD, THE FINISH WILL COLE OFF! As a candy maker, I purchase this pan to make my life a little easier as I make a half ton of chocolates. A white chocolate chip melts while it is being melted. Upon observing the chocolate I noticed that there was a gray tint to it, and beneath I observed the finish had worn off.
