There are steaks seared on the grill. On a stovetop, it'll get as hot as it can.
As long as it's flexible, yes I would say. One of the 2 I have extends beyond the pot entirely.
It fits pretty much all pans, so it is great that it comes in 13 inches! In fact, I even use it for 9 inch pans. It does overlap a bit, but the lid fits snugly on the smaller pans because of the grooves under the lid. The larger lid will work for all your different sized pans, which is what I use, so go for that if you are going to use them all, as you will only need one lid.
Yes, I agree! Made from food-grade silicone, our Universal lid is durable and easy to clean. There is a Chinese manufacturer of this product.

The thing has been sitting on my desk for just over a month, and already it is falling apart. Of course, it is happening just a few days after.
There are some good ones here- A frying pan of quality, useful and versatile, but remember to keep the lid diameter to pan diameter ratio in mind. Unless you're okay with the lid sinking down into the pan, it's wise to get the larger lid.
A month ago, I purchased this item. There is no way to clean the blemished surface of the smaller lid of the 2. Somehow there is permanent fog between two layers of glass that will not clear the lid and there must be two layers of glass in it. Photos can be seen here.
Despite the fact that it rests low into my pan, I did not like the way the lid fit. The black rubber was so flexible and the class lid weighed it down that I could see the pan touching the food. I did not cook with it, but it seemed that it would be touching the food in the pan. The largest pan I could fit it on was what I tried it on.
There were unfortunately no good things about them. My favorite part of these runners is the runner on the edge. I've used it once over a pan on my stove and it flakes off into the food.
These are what I bought to use on my cast iron pans and my non-stick pans Cooking with non-stick skillets without a lid is not recommended. I have a 7 inch skillet that fits all my smaller skillets and a 9 inch skillet that fits all my larger ones beautifully. It is a beautiful sight to see It has a strong silicone rim and is made of glass. Solid construction and heavy weight make these lids very durable. The lids for cast iron skillets that I have owned for years are great, because I have never had lids for them.
I didn't receive a lid when I purchased my new skillets. These new lids fit better than my old ones. First, I made the mistake of buying a metal "universal" cover that was much too wide to nest into the smallest of my pans due to the angle of the Both of these lids do not have such problems because the rim is stepped and flexible, allowing the lid to adjust to the angle of your handle. As long as the lid does not extend too far into the food, that doesn't bother me. There are only two lids, but that means I can cover three skillet sizes.
I really like the ease of It's a very nice product and I ordered The two of them are used every day at least. This is a must have item for this cook. The rubber rings on the exterior are Over the years, I have laid them on hot electric burners several times. There is a larger one that works in the bigger Dutch oven I have. The purchase I made was a great success.
