Great price compared to others, and it did the job perfectly for replacing a super stiff navt blue Anchor lid that kept coming off the Anchor 2 cup glass container. Originally, it was a set of two containers with two lids, but one lid worked fine, so the defective one must have been the result of an isolated flaw in the manufacture. Knowing the Pyrex brand could be interchanged with the Anchor brand was nice. I had to read reviews before purchasing to make sure it would work, and there it was. I like these Pyrex lids because they are not as stiff and I feel like they will be easier to use with my Anchor glass pots.
Storage containers and lids made of pyrex are used often by us and they are pretty rough around the edges. The last lid we had broke just a few months ago and we The lids are great to replace, and the quality is great too! The lids are not leakproof like my original lids, but I doubt that any Pyrex lid is. When stored right side up in the fridge, these containers are sufficient for storing soups, but you shouldn't turn them upside down Purchasing them again would be an excellent decision.
It is harder to bend the replacement lids than the originals. There are fewer seams and they are more rigid. They may crack quite quickly, so I am concerned. The lids are not the same as the originals, even though they are marked.
While I don't need three of these, now that I have them I'll be ready with the next one when the next one tears. *) It's a pleasure to use glass Pyrex bowls and lids instead of.
Anchor Hocking (AH) bowls need new covers, so I had them Unfortunately I couldn't find them by AH, but the Pyrex covers appeared to fit and in fact On the original AH bowls, Pyrex covers were used. I checked one of my old covers, and sure enough, they were Pyrex. My usage of them is so high that I find it great to find them. It is not a question of hesitation for me to make the.
