In actuality, the outside diameter of this tire can be as large as 12 1/8 inches One other measurement worth taking is what I will call the drip ring. This is the inner ring that extends straight down from the glass dome about 1/4 inch and prevents any moisture from getting to the outer edges of the lid. A drip ring with a diameter of just over 11 5/8 inches is used. As a side note, I bought this to go with my favorite 12" Tramontina pan. There is no drip ring on the Tramontina pan, and the lid fits completely inside, rather than just the drip ring. The Tramontina pan has a maximum diameter of 12 3/4 inches. In this case, it is fine. There are a couple of important things to remember making sure the drip ring fits into the pan and making sure the lid does not fall in too far. About two and a half inches is the entire height of the lid.
There is no longer a "10-" in my wallet It's a 5" lid I returned because it's a 5" lid. My frying pan's top diameter is exactly 10 inches, but I just measured it and it is a 10" pan. It was so cheap when I bought it It was less than 10" in diameter, even though it was called a 10" lid, since the lid did not sit on top of the fry pan, but rather it fitted inside of it. Using the lid on the fry pan would have been impossible due to the lid's diameter.
A 10 inch lid fits my T-shirt as well as an 8 inch lid Pans 8 and 10 by Fal are coated with a durable finish. Considering that my stainless steel skillet is a different brand, I have no idea what it is like with stainless steel. There is a small "wiggle room" along the inside of the lids so that they fit inside the pans and fit inside their diameters. It has been my experience that the fit of the lid is tight enough to collect steam during use and seal enough so that contents do not come out from under. Having used these lids, I have been satisfied with their performance. The fact that I found them was greatly appreciated. On my skillets, the outer rim of the lid rests on the outer edge of the skillet, so this is where the "seal" is located. Thanks! I hope this helps you!
Approximately 7 7/8 inches wide with an approximately 1/8 inch lip, the lid measures 7 7/8 inches across. From the inside edge to the inside edge, measure the pan. This size should fit perfectly if it is somewhere between 7 7/8 and 8 inches. Although I have a Circulon pan which is actually 8 1/2 inches in diameter, the edges of the pan are 8 inches apart exactly, and the lid fits like it was made for it. Let me know if that helps

After only four or so months of use, the product was completely shattered without any intervention on our part. It is also worth mentioning that we were also forced to throw away the skillet, resulting in quite a bit I am not aware if others have had this problem, but it was quite disappointing. Please let them know that this is a product they should avoid at all cost. As a result, we are no longer able to use.
It is a great lid, except that the screw hole on the plastic handle is prone to becoming So, the screw cannot be tightened, and the handle would be easily detachable if the screw came loose, sending the glass lid crashing to the ground. In my call to Farberware customer service, I was told that replacement handles are not available. In their opinion, I should go to a company called Goodman's, which does make handle, but it costs $9 per handle. You would pay $3 plus 99 cents. There are 75 cents in the box, which is more than the cost of a new Consequently, I went to the hardware store with an employee who helped me look through the screws. The next morning, we tried an adjustment with two extra washers, and it seemed to help for a little while, but now it's coming loose This perfectly good lid will have to go to waste by the end of the week just because I couldn't find a handle for it. an inefficient use of resources, which could have been avoided if the lid had been functional in the first place. I give it a thumbs.
My family enjoys eggs over easy without having to turn them. I needed a glass cover for this. I love how well they fit! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. A heavy cast iron skillet should not have any kind of glass cover, as my common sense tells me. This is very strange to me, how Amazon allows a negative comment on an item that is not used properly! This comment was a negative one, so I ignored it. As a consequence, I would highly recommend this cover and I received the item six days earlier than expected. Additionally, it is right in time for the holiday shipping rush. I spent more than $25 on my order. My order of 00 shipped for free to me in less than four days from Amazon!.
Fits 8" & 10" I really like this lid, it's reasonable in price and I think it's of These are the ones I got 8, 10, and It is possible to get 12" Calphalon Contemporary Series fry pans, but Calphalon does not make glass lids for these I saw online that other Calphalon series (Premier, Signature, etc. ) might not fit since I did all the searching and reading. No way was I going to pay so much for the test. The 8" & 16" would suffice. There are ten 10" size lids for Farberware - they fit 8" & 8" and 10" sizes It worked on both of the Calphalon ten-inch pans I got. I didn't get the Farberware twelve-inch lid, but the Ozeri Earth twelve-inch lid works just fine on the Calphalon twelve-inch.
I couldn't find some of the information I needed when researching this lid, so I am sharing the information now with There were no frying pan covers in my cupboard, I needed lids to replace the lids on my 4 and 8 quart farberware pots. The original set of pots I used to die with for more than 15 years came with glass lids like this. The glass lids on two of my jars broke when they fell from the high counter onto my ceramic floor (hey, it can happen to anyone, In all the other times they fell from not so high heights, these glasses did not shatter, so I am fine )The 6 qt and 8 qt pots had nearly the same diameter, just one was taller- It meant the same lid would )It was really nice having you around-
I have had bad experiences in the past with see-through lids so I decided to try this. Turns out they were the right size for me since I had two sizes (a smaller one for my 4 qt. and a It stands to reason, of course). They appeared to me to be a tiny drop of water - While I found the original lids clattering a bit loosely, when I checked the original lids on this set I noted that they also did not close tightly. I have no doubt that the new ones are a little looser than the original ones, but none of them are too snug, and since I have been doing well for the last 15 years, I'm willing to take a chance. Now that I have these two pots back to use for cooking things that need covers, I saved myself the need to buy additional.
All three of my 8" fry pans fit perfectly with this 8" glass lid. Three of the best pans I have are Cuisinart, Barrarini, and T-Fal The full form. This is a highly recommended book. My oven arrived with a dent in the inside rim probably as a result of Amazon failing to pack the box that had heavy pans moving around in it. It was easy to straighten with a pair of pliers and it works fine now. I was pleasantly surprised that it fitted together There was no significant difference between a curved lip and a flat lip on the pan. While I did not test it on any pots, I do believe that it fits nicely on all three fry pans. There is a T Purchasing an 8" fry pan from Amazon was my purchase of the FAL ultimate pan. You can therefore feel confident in purchasing this 8" lid with the T-shaped design if you plan to have a covered pan Take an 8-inch fry pan, such as the 4-piece Ultimate 8" set, and you ll have a nice set.
This should have fit my Lodge 12 inch pan if measured by ruler, but it would not. My next step was to gently bend in the frame with a shop towel and pliers. It took about 30 minutes of patience, but now everything fits as it should.
Due to poor materials in the handle, the plastic handle part has now completely stripped and will not stick to the lid. It worked perfectly for nine years, but now I can't use it because the handle is completely stripped. Though I would like to fix it, the plastic material is deteriorating rapidly, so it would appear to be hopeless. If you want a great lid that will last 9 years, and then you think you will need a new one, this cap is a good choice, but if you want a lid that you will keep for the rest of your life,.
