I found they were not as strong in the hand as I would have liked. There is too much light weight in the funnel, while the magnet on the mag stick could be made heavier for a better hold on the In my opinion, it is not bad, but in my hand it does not feel right.

This is a great starter kit for someone who has never canned before. The set had everything I needed to can for the first time. The funnel was just the right size and clean to use. I didn't burn my fingers when I used.

As a gift for my daughter, I bought this set- The goal of the workshop is to introduce canning to an attorney. The plastic felt a bit flimsy to me, which is why I hoped it would be a bit more durable.
