Selected User Reviews For Encha Latte Grade First Harvest Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder, From Uji, Japan (2.12 Ounce)
For quite some time, I've been looking for a good organic matcha product to use in my daily matcha latte. br>br>The two brands that I recently purchased were Encha Organic Matcha Latte-Making Powder and Encha Organic Matcha Latte-Making Powder. Jade Leaf in Culinary-Grade (it has excellent online reviews and is specifically for matcha lattes) and Grade in Culinary-Grade Grade (the most popular organic matcha brand on Amazon; also suitable for latte). I assumed that because both brands are highly rated, the quality of these two products would be similar, but to my surprise, there is a significant difference between them! br>br>The matcha from Jade Leaf was brownish-green in color. It has a yellowish hue to it. The matcha powder was dull and stale, and the bag appeared to have been sitting in a warehouse for months. I used my frother to froth 1 tsp with 2 oz cold water for about 10 seconds before adding 6 oz cold coconut milk and frothing for another minute. Because the particles were clumped together, the powder was difficult to dissolve. Now it's time for the TASTE. I took a sip and was disappointed by the muddy, moldy aftertaste; in fact, it tasted so bad that I poured it down the drain. Encha Latte, on the other hand, is a specialty coffee from Japan. Grade Organic Matcha tasted so much better and was so much more refreshing. When I made a coconut matcha latte with Encha, I followed the exact same procedure. When I first opened the bag, I was struck by how bright green the matcha powder was and how grassy it smelled. It blended well with the water before blending well with the coconut milk. I enjoyed a foamy, smooth, and silky matcha latte made from this mixture! What a delightful surprise! br>br>The price of Encha is slightly higher than that of Jade Leaf. Let's look at some examples: 30g of Jade Leaf costs $9 per packet. It would cost $18 if you were 45 years old. 90 grams for 60 grams; Encha's 60g packet costs $33, whereas the 60g packet from Encha costs $33. As a result, you get exactly what you pay for. Because I can't stand the moldy taste of Jade leaf and end up throwing it away, Encha it is! Even if I only get two packets per month, it's still a good deal.
I'm serious. br>br> br>br>I know what you're thinking: "But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but br>br>I've been using matcha for a few years and have always kept my costs low. I've never been able to justify spending so much money on higher-quality matcha powders. However, I recently had to give up coffee due to its high caffeine content, so I began drinking matcha on a more regular basis. br>br>Before discovering Encha, all of the matcha I'd ever purchased had been brown, oxidized, and bitter. Even with the addition of cream and honey, it was barely edible. I had resorted to using it to make matcha smoothies, where the flavor could be hidden. br>br>When I stopped drinking coffee, I decided to treat myself to a high-quality matcha so that I could still have a cup of something warm in the morning. It's the same as if - Guys, it was 40 degrees outside (Iowaforthewin), and I needed something to look forward to once I got out of bed. br>br>When I Googled "best Matcha brands," I came across this company on a blog. I decided to give it a shot and went with the "latte quality" because the ceremonial's price tag made me guffaw a little. It's well worth the effort. br>br> OMG, I'm never going back to that brown powdered liar matcha. br>br>I've attached some photos to show the difference between the Encha powder and the low-quality matcha I bought the last time. br>br>The color contrast is incredible, and the Encha smells divine. It has a sweet, freshly mowed lawn scent to it. In comparison to the Encha, the other matcha stinks like garbage. I'm serious. And the flavor is incomparably superior. So much better, in fact. It's well worth the effort. br>br> Simply go ahead and purchase it. You owe it to yourself to do something nice for yourself. You will not be sorry.
Oh, my goodness, I'm a tea/coffee aficionado. Tea was something I drank three times a day. Every day, five times. These beverages have been a part of my diet for a long time. They were something I used to make at home. I would use 2% milk before progressing to using condensed milk which added to the flavor of each without diluting the strength of my teas without diluting the strength of I became addicted to making Vietnamese coffee at home, which I did with condensed milk as well. These beverages' acidity soon began to bother me. If I didn't have my morning cup of tea or coffee, I got withdrawal headaches, and the more I tried to stop, the more tenderheaded I became. I had more stomach pains that lasted for several hours each day, especially before bedtime. I started looking for other options that would still provide me with mental clarity and a burst of energy. br>br>Back in 2016, when I was still a student, I was on a budget and ordered the most despicable matcha "green tea" powder on Amazon for $7. It was so bad that I couldn't even make tea with it. It had a bitter taste, a foul odor, and the appearance of a green-colored weed. cement (gray) Needless to say, I hadn't gotten into the habit of making my own matcha tea. I gave up on the idea and tried to like the crushed green tea powder, but it was too much for me. I eventually got rid of it. br>br>Recently, as part of my effort to give up tea and coffee, I began ordering a vegan mango matcha fresh milk drink from my neighborhood bubble tea shop. It was a delectable beverage to which I quickly became accustomed. It was topped off with soy milk and dissolved matcha after a layer of mango purée was added to the bottom. At $7 per day, it quickly became a daily necessity for me. br>br>Because I hadn't learned how to make a good matcha latte at home, I didn't have any other homemade options to compete with this matcha tea. I didn't have all of the necessary ingredients on hand at the time. Following a conversation with a staff member at the aforementioned bubble tea shop, I decided to look into "grade A matcha. " Then I learned about the various types of matcha, including the culinary and ceremonial grades. My first instinct was to buy ceremonial grade matcha, but I couldn't justify paying $55 for an ounce of matcha I didn't know much about. I did some research on the brands jade leaf and kenko matcha. I read a lot of blogs and reviews to learn about what makes a good matcha. Matcha is, in a sense, a form of art. I ultimately chose this brand, and it has been a wonderful experience for me. I now have a homemade matcha latte with almond milk twice a day, sweetened with honey. I'm content with my lot in life.
